Depending on the medication and the propellant (CFC or HFA), different materials are used. We produce our containers from aluminium and stainless steel. While stainless steel containers are usually used uncoated, aluminium containers can also be offered in a coated version. Our containers are used as primary packaging for the administration of aerosol medication by inhaler. Patients worldwide use MDI (metered-dose inhalers) to treat respiratory diseases such as asthma and COPD.

With the thread adapter made of high-quality stainless steel 1.4301 (304) a pump, a drain cock or any other connection with thread G 2" (Whitworth pipe thread) can be screwed onto a container with G 1 1/2" thread. The thread adapter adapts and thus compensates for different thread shapes. The drum adapter ensures that decanting is liquid-tight; a seal made of ePTFE reliably seals the connection. The thread adapter made of stainless steel is electrically conductive and highly chemically resistant. It can therefore be used for filling solvents and other flammable liquids (e.g. alcohols, petrol, diesel etc.) as well as for weak alkalis and acids.

With Novartos Multi triple sampling, a triple multi-point sample can be taken from multiple predefined sample zones. Depending on the length, four, seven or nine sample chambers are each fitted with three sample inserts fot the triple sampling.

With Novartos Multi double sampling, a double multi-point sample can be taken from multiple predefined sample zones. Depending on the lenght, four, seven or nine sample chambers are each fitted with two sample inserts for the double sampling.

The Novartos Multi has 14 sample chambers for up to seven sample zones for an all-layer sample. Novartos the Pharma zone sampler for sampling according to FDA guidelines for Unit-Dose-Sampling. It is now possible to withdraw a double-sample without inserting the lance repeatedly into the bulk material. Mixing is mainly prevented in this way. One significant advantage of Novartos is the easy cleaning. Complete filling and emptying of sample chambers has been improved substantially using computer-optimised geometry. Special materials with excellent surface qualities must be used for this to prevent cross-contamination. Our PharmaSpoon fulfils these requirements. Made of stainless steel AISI 316L (1.4404), surface highly polished by hand (not electro-polished!). The excellent surface properties of the PharmaSpoon provide significant advantages.

Polypropylene wheels are used in a wide range of industrial settings. The white PPN version is frequently used for applications with demanding hygiene requirements, such as the food industry or pharmaceutical industry. The wheels can be cleaned using a variety of agents as they are resistant to a wide range of aggressive substances. The black PP version is also electrically conductive.

The long handle of the sample scoop makes it possible to take samples even from places that are difficult to reach, for example large containers with very little content. The high rim prevents the sample from spilling after it is taken. The light design of the stainless steel scoop ensures comfortable handling. This sample scoop PharmaScoop has been developed in order to meet the high requirements of the pharmaceutical industry, such as those contained in the FDA regulations. Like all samplers for the pharmaceutical industry, they are made of stainless steel AISI 316 without edges, crevices or undercuts in which sample residues could collect and contaminate subsequent samples. The highly polished inner and outer surfaces of the scoop therefore meet all the requirements for GMP compliance in production and sampling.

The GEMÜ PFA tubing range comprises tubing spools and straight tube pieces. These can be supplied either in a high-purity version with Teflon® PFA 450 HP (DuPont) or in the standard version.
