Depending on the medication and the propellant (CFC or HFA), different materials are used. We produce our containers from aluminium and stainless steel. While stainless steel containers are usually used uncoated, aluminium containers can also be offered in a coated version. Our containers are used as primary packaging for the administration of aerosol medication by inhaler. Patients worldwide use MDI (metered-dose inhalers) to treat respiratory diseases such as asthma and COPD.

The GEMÜ 650TL diaphragm valve is a manual tapping valve with automatic closing function which is pneumatically operated. The "keep-closed" override of manual operation is via a stainless steel handwheel. The valve can only be operated (opened / closed), if a control medium is applied to the actuator. When the control medium supply is switched off, the valve closes and can no longer be operated manually. — Hermetic separation between medium and operator — Ergonomic handwheel — Additional pneumatic actuator for closing from a central control system — CIP/SIP capable — Optional flow direction and installation position

The GEMÜ 651 2/2-way diaphragm valve has a stainless steel piston actuator and is pneumatically operated. The valve is designed for use in a sterile environment. The valve has a fully integrated automation module and an internal air supply. Normally closed (NC) and Normally open (NO) control functions are available. The GEMÜ 687 2/2-way diaphragm valve has a low maintenance plastic membrane actuator and is pneumatically operated. The valve has a metal distance piece. Normally Closed (NC), Normally Open (NO) and Double Acting (DA) control functions are available. —The modular actuator system permits a variety of options to be used such as tank bottom valves, T valves, sampling valves, multi-port valves and tandem welded configurations —Optional flow direction and installation position

The GEMÜ 653 and GEMÜ 654 2/2-way diaphragm valves have a stainless steel operator housing and are manually operated. The valve is available in two versions. GEMÜ 653 has a handwheel in high temperature and chemically resistant plastic. GEMÜ 654 has a stainless steel handwheel. Both types are also available with concealed bolt mounting (design D). An integral optical position indicator is standard. —Handwheel design allows minimal heat sink —CIP/SIP cleaning and sterilising capabilities, autoclave capability —The service life of the diaphragm is increased to a maximum (by the optional seal adjuster) —Stroke limiter available (optional)

The GEMÜ 650 2/2-way diaphragm valve has a stainless steel piston actuator and is pneumatically operated. The valve is designed for use in a sterile environment. All metallic actuator components are made of stainless steel. The compression springs of diaphragm sizes 80 and 100 are made of epoxy coated spring steel. Normally closed (NC), Normally open (NO) and Double acting (DA) control functions are available. The GEMÜ 601, GEMÜ 612 and GEMÜ 673 2/2-way diaphragm valves have a temperature resistant plastic handwheel and are manually operated. The GEMÜ 602 valve has a stainless steel handwheel and is manually operated. Bonnet and internals are made all of stainless steel. The GEMÜ Q40 2/2-way pinch valve has a stainless steel piston actuator and is pneumatically operated. The valve guides a tube which is compressed from above by a compressor to control and regulate media. The compressor's specially developed contour and the inserts' contour minimise the strain on the tube and thus increase the tubes' service life. Tubes can be safely inserted and removed in simple steps and without tools. The available control functions are "normally closed (NC)" and "normally open (NO)". These can be designed for a wide variety of objects and applications for manual operation or as fully automated systems. In certain applications the combination of both types of solutions is also possible. Another possibility is a modular approach, which allows the customer to expand the capacities and the technical level later on according to his current needs. Individual stations can be connected by a conveyor belt system, or the parts can be transferred manually.

A fully automated solution cannot manage without reliable automatic feeding and sorting equipment. In this area we cooperate with well-known manufacturers of vibration and handling elements. The automatic and semi-automatic solutions can also include camera sensors or smart cameras.
