The magnetic oil level indicator 1 225 with vertical float movement is used for hermetically sealed transformers. The float movement is transmitted to the display by means of a magnetic clutch. This ensures that, in case of damage to the dome, no oil leakge of the transformer occures. The body is made of brass. The thread connection of the oil level indicator 1 225 is 1 ½".

The oil drain device Type C2 is used for oil sampling or emptying the transformer tank. The device is welded into the transformer case. The device is designed for use together with connection pipe F DIN 42551 for draining the transformer case for regeneration purpose of the oil. Dehydrating breathers are being used for liquid immersed transformers in order to protect the insulating liquid and prevent the harmful moisture absorption from ambient air, which occurs when the load on the transformer fluctuates.The dehydrating breather removes practically all moisture from the air that flows through it into the conservator when the transformer is cooling down. This largely prevents any reduction of the dielectric strength and the formation of condensation in the expansion tank. Thus, the dehydrating breathers increases the operational safety of transformers.

The Buchholz Relay MBP in accordance with EN 50216-2 protects liquid immersed transformers and reactors with conservator. It will be mounted in the pipeline between transformer and conservator tank. The Buchholz Relay MBP operates as a protection device that can be provided with either two contacts or four contacts for alarm and tripping. Each Buchholzrelay is individually tested in a test facility for tightness and proper functioning.

Challenge To execute a pilot project at the Energisa distribution network operator in Brazil within a tight time frame. The customer needed to install 23 kV outdoor circuit breakers with protection at a newly erected substation. Solution Tavrida Electric supplied the Rec25 with substation mounting kit to meet the deadline and satisfy the customer’s requirements in terms of protection. A specially designed axial magnetic field distribution provides an even current density over the contact surface, substantially improving the vacuum interrupting performance. Vacuum interrupter contacts have unique design, based on the mixture of copper and chromium metals and various dopants, to ensure long electrical life of contacts, low contacts resistance and chopping current. The patented, supercompact actuator design allows the circuit breaker to be installed directly underneath each pole.
