The 8661 precision torque sensor is the ideal choice for reliable measurement of static and dynamic clockwise and counter-clockwise torques. Thanks to its high measurement quality and low linearity error, the sensor is equally at home in quality control or research & development. Designed for non-contact operation and zero-maintenance, the 8661 is also ideally suited to the production environment, whether on shift-based production lines, test benches or end-of-line test systems. The 8661 torque sensor is the specialist device for constant torque measurements during continuous operation and for test-bench measurements of holding, friction, break-away or tightening torques. An optional built-in incremental encoder disk with up to 2000 increments makes the sensor the perfect alternative where space or budget rule out an additional angle or speed sensor. For mobile use and for instant digital access to measurement data, the 8661 torque sensor is also available with a USB interface.

The range of functions has been limited deliberately to ensure operation is simple and self-explanatory. With its unique, large and clear digit height of 20 mm, the digital display can be installed easily in process control panels and control cabinets. Thanks to the large choice of measurement signals that can be indicated, the display is ideal for use in a huge range of industry-based applications. As a simple and compact digital display, it can also be used as a multi-channel solution in laboratory or test systems, where several different measurements may need to be taken and displayed simultaneously. SYSTEM SOLUTIONS FOR GAS STORAGE With the Lipp gas holder Lipp offers a tried and tested system solution which is complete in itself, for unpressurised storage of biogas, sewage gas and landfill gas. This solution is chiefly used for municipal waste water treatment plants and landfills. Due to its design, as well as high functional and operational safety, it also ensures low maintenance costs over a very long service life. This is mainly because the sensitive gas holder is protected against UV radiation and other environmental influences by a steel container manufactured with the Lipp dual seam system. Furthermore, this construction method allows an exact leak test and highly accurate metrological monitoring of the gas fill level. Both aspects are essential for safe and efficient plant operation. With certification according to § 19 WHG for Lipp GmbH and DVGW approval of the gas storage tank, further conditions are met for use in municipal waste water treatment plants.
