Stainless steel is expensive. Verinox offers the same level of quality as the conventional material used for the construction of tanks and containers while using less stainless steel. With Verinox – the duplex material developed by Lipp – a sheet of stainless steel is joined to a sheet of galvanised steel by means of a separation layer. Three components form the basis for this material that is ideal for tank and container construction not only does it have outstanding physical properties but it also uses a reduced quantity of expensive stainless steel, resulting in lower costs. With this invention, Lipp has successfully retained the economic benefit of the LIPP Double Seam System while improving the material savings made. SYSTEM SOLUTIONS FOR SEWAGE SLUDGE DIGESTION In the municipal sector, the focus is on the production of biogas from sewage sludge. The aim is to make the energy potential of the primary and secondary sludge from anaerobic sludge digestion usable. On the one hand heat and electrical power is obtained for operation of the sewage plant. On the other hand, the sludge is conditioned so that the other aerobic process stages can run more efficiently and thus more cost effectively. The Lipp KomBio reactor has established itself as an ideal solution in the municipal sector due to its construction and long service life and has been successfully installed in hundreds of plants at home and abroad. Thanks to the application of the SBR process in our digesters, and the tank geometry and construction, it is possible to make optimum use of the low energy potential of the sewage sludge and operate sewage sludge digestion economically.

The universal Drum pump with mechanical seal F/FP 430 can be used for various media and is suitable for conveying out of drums, IBCs or tanks. Due to the construction with mechanical seal, the pump can be easily and quickly taken apart into its two main components. This allows good cleanability. Distinct feature, only at FLUX: The inner tube is reinforced with a metal core on plastic models (PP and PVDF). This always allows full function of the mechanical seal. This way, leakage and unnecessary wear are prevented for the complete operating temperature range. Furthermore, it provides highest stability and makes immersion lengths of up to 3 000 mm possible.
