The GM 3100 offers even higher accuracy of results even with changing tasks, since it can be set for different measuring tasks and environments. The device monitors the intake volume flow and can adapt to the changed measuring environment, preset, monitor and the volume flow. In addition to reliable measurement results, optimal stability and constant response times are also achieved. Thanks to the menu navigation in connection with the automatic measuring range selection, the measuring system GM 3100 is easy and safe to use even by an inexperienced user. For commissioning, all you have to do is select a task in the main menu, for example gas detection, and the measuring device then automatically sets the sensor, measuring range, pump output and alarm message according to a defined program.

The 8524 precision tension & compression load cell is a versatile sensor for highly accurate load measurements in diverse applications. Optimum measurement quality is achieved with the load cell mounted on a flat, hard and polished contact surface. This requirement does not apply to small measurement ranges of up to 0 ... 2 kN because three knife-edge bearings ensure that the sensor is seated securely. Our brochure „Load Cells“ explains how you can design parasitic loads out of your mechanical system. Through-holes in the outer flange are used for fastening the 8524 sensor to the system structure. The load is applied via the central blind threaded hole or optionally via a load button. Alternatively, a pull plate and even rod end bearings, if desired, can be attached to the sensor for equally easy measurement of purely tensile loads, for instance in Bowden cables or chains. The 8524 sensor is designed to measure static, quasi-static and dynamic compressive and/or tensile loads.

The devices are equipped with an exclusive label edge detector 'Mech Sensor System ". This automatically detects the leading edge of the label and provides absolute dispensing accuracy of form labels. There are no special transport cuts or sensor marks required. Suitable for label sizes of 18 x 20 mm up to 100 x 60 mm.

If there is axial misalignment (eccentricity) between the drive shaft and the shaft of a potentiometer used to sense angular, motion, this will cause a linearity error that increases as the coupling radius decreases in relation to the degree of eccentricity. The following equation determines the maximum relative error Fmax = E/Pi · rk where E = Eccentricity und rk = the coupling radius. It is only possible to take full advantage of the linearity or conformity of any rotationary sensor system, if coupling alignment errors (offset and angular misalignment) are avoided or at least reduced to a mimimum. This means that with highly accurate measurement systems, due allowance must be made for any coupling misalingment in accordance with the above equation.

The GEMÜ 4242 combi switchbox is suitable for mounting to pneumatically operated linear actuators. It utilises a microprocessor controlled, intelligent position sensor and an analogue travel sensor system. The combi switchbox was specially designed for small to medium nominal sizes and strokes ranging from 2 to 30 mm.
