Trifix® is the new adjusting system for Gildemeister multi tasking machines. The double sided adjusting system is guided by a very precise key way at the surface of the turret. 

 The plates are preloaded, and the resiliency in the adjusting system eliminates static redundancy. This allow the exact position of the tool to be secured and significantly reduces the setup time of the machine. Because this is a highly sophisticated precision instrument it is not possible to use double serrated tool shafts. The tool is supplied fully adjusted and can be used right away. EWS is the DMG system partner for this tool generation. The BH25 is a high resolution exposed linear encoder with interferometric measurement signal generation. The BH25 scale has a graduation period of 1µm. The interferometric laser scale principle generates a sinusoidal measurement signal with a signal period of 250nm in the read head. The BH25 is characterized by its small size and high signal quality. It is suitable for resolutions of up to 3.8pm. Due to the reflective scanning and the small design it is perfectly suited for high accuracy X/Y stages with linear motor drive as well as for measurement applications

The BS78 is a high accuracy exposed linera encoder with an interferometric signal generation in transmitted light design. The scale has a graduation period of 0.55µm. The LASERSCALE operating principle generates a sinusoidal measuring signal with a signal period of 138nm. This has an extremely high signal quality with a very low noise component. This allows resolutions of up to 2.1 pm to be generated. Due to the extremely low interpolation error, the BS78 is perfectly suited for ultra precision machining, measurement and calibration applications.

The BL57 is a high-resolution, exposed linear encoder with interferometric operating principle in transmitted light design. The BL57 has a graduation period of 1.6µm and generates a sinusoidal signal period of 400nm due to the laserscale operating principle. This allows resolutions of up to 6.1pm. to be achieved. Due to the high response speed of up to 3m/s, it is perfectly suited for high-precision and fast X/Y stages.

The BL50H is a high resolution exposed linear encoder in reflective design. The BL50H has a grating period of 1.6µm and generates a signal period of 400nm with the Laserscale operating principle. The extremely small dimensions, made possible by the reflective design and large mounting tolerances, allow easy integration into X/Y stages and a wide variety of measurement applications. It provides a very high signal quality with low noise level and is suitable for resolutions up to 6pm at travel speeds up to 3m/s.
