To create ideal conditions in terms of rigidity and damping for multi-axis machining, the series was equipped with hydrostatic (oil) bearings. By using diamond tools, optical surface quality can be achieved on a wide range of materials like crystals, nonferrous metals and plastics, even with complex geometries. Similar to the MMC 600/900 air bearing machines, the basic setup can be equipped with various accessories. The basic setup consists of 3 linear axes and can be upgraded by additional rotary, tilt or spindle axes to 4, 5 or 6 axes. Accessories, like different spindles, vacuum chucks, palleting systems, 3D touch probes for workpiece measurement, tool changer and automated tool setting, allow an effective use of the machine. A range of filters, measurement and registration tools enable a high differentiate processing of scan data and are the key to filter, register and color 3D point clouds. Thanks to the large selection of export formats provided by Z+F LaserControl®, data can be imported and further processed in all common 3D software applications.

GLOBALFLEX®-H05VV-F conrol cables have been successfully used or many decades as measuring and control cables in tool machinery, plant installation, power stations and in data equipment. The Zwick 3103 IRHD micro compact hardness tester comprises of a standard unit with combined electronics and display. It is equipped with a support table that has an adjustable height for the samples. It also has an integral IRHD micro measurement tool in accordance to ISO 48. This tester are applicable for testing O-rings, seals, hoses, and mouldings. Furthermore, the Zwick 3103 is equipped with a 2-line LCD display that presents the measurement period, range, and value. It has a built-in testXpert® testing software that enables transmission of measured value using the RS232 interface.

The KKF3-SL, a universal chamfering and contour milling machine, has a measuring head attachment. Tools with a shaft diameter from Ø6-12 mm can be clamped in the milling cutter support. Our versatile tool range includes different VHM milling cutters and blade heads. The VHM milling cutters are available for the processing of chamfer angles and radii. Ball bearings with Ø6 or Ø8mm are used for contour processing with the VHM milling cutters. Tapered contour chamfers are used in combination with optional guide fingers or stop rulers. The use of cutter heads with cutting inserts and guide ball bearings starting at Ø10mm permit maximum efficiency. A guide prism with VHM shaft chamfering can optionally be used for straight edges. The exact chamfer setting is performed through a micrometer screw. A chamfer width of up to 6mm at 45° is possible in steel. In NE metals, significantly larger chamfers are possible depending on the tool and angle.
