Compared to low pressure systems and double membrane gas accumulators the Lipp system has very low operation and maintenance costs.

LIPP® Gas Accumulators were developed as a system for the nonpressurised storage of dry gas which has been used for over 300 projects worldwide over the past years or more. Sizes from 30 to 5000 m³ are available according to the gas yield in each case. The gas accumulator consists of two parts a bubbleshaped storage balloon and a steel container to protect the balloon against mechanical damage and the effects of weathering. Speciality Accurate level measure of stored gas. In biological processes, gas production is not continuous. That is why the utilisation of gas (e.g. in a combined heat and power plant) requires an accumulator in order to compensate for fluctuations during gas production and to bridge downtimes for plant repairs and maintenance. Besides high functional and operating safety, other important criteria for the construction and operation of gas tanks include the economic aspects of investment and maintenance costs.

The tensiometers of the DCAT series are measuring instruments for force-based investigation of surface and interface properties. Because of the compact and modular product design of the DCAT series, a bespoke combination of device and accessories can be found for any use case. The DCAT 15 is the standard model of the DCAT series and offers more measurement methods and modular extensions compared to the entry-level models. In addition to measuring surface and interfacial tension as well as density, the DCAT 15 can be used to determine dynamic contact angles, the surface energy of solids and to investigate sedimentation and penetration properties. Together with the LDU 25 liquid dosing unit, automatic concentration series can be generated to determine the critical micelle formation concentration. The optical contact angle meters of the OCA series are high-precision measuring systems for the characterisation of interfaces and surfaces. They combine high-resolution optics, pinpoint liquid dosing and precise sample positioning to create powerful, reliable measuring systems. The OCA 25 standard model is the all-purpose system for contact angle measurements and drop shape analysis. The high-performance camera makes it possible to measure contact angles even on adsorbent surfaces such as tissues or powders. Compared to the entry-level OCA 15, additional measurements at temperatures of up to 700 °C are possible. Further advantages are the more precise positioning of the sample table as well as the compatibility with many more dosing systems, which allow electronic dosing and droplet volumes down to a minimum of ten nanolitres. This differential pressure transmitter in a control panel housing is suitable for use as a 2- or 3-point controller thanks to its two integrated limit contacts. These permit the realisation, e.g. of ventilation controls, at low cost and without the need for additional electronics. Both the threshold values and the hysteresis for the controller are easy to set via the front keyboard. The display provides readings of measurement values directly on-site in Pa, kPa, inchH2O or mmH2O as well as information about the output states of the limit contacts. An adjustable time constant (up to 10 s) allows the instrument to generate an attenuated output signal, even under fluctuating pressure conditions. Cyclical self-calibration of the zero point ensures a high level of measurement accuracy. The instrument is available with an ISO factory calibration or DAkkS calibration certificate (optional).
