Tungsten is a silver-white, metallically shiny or grey heavy metal (depending on whether it occurs in pieces or in powder form). Hard and brittle, tungsten can, however, be made ductile by hammering and drawn into thin wires, for example. Tungsten belongs to the group of refractory metals, which are characterized by high melting points, good thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion, among other things. High corrosion resistance is a further characteristic. Tungsten is suitable for the construction of resistance heating elements, the manufacture of filaments (especially in high-temperature furnace construction and electrical engineering), engine parts, X-ray anodes and welding electrodes. Pins made of tungsten can be fused into high melting point glass for the passage of current. Tungsten is also used in nuclear technology. Tungsten alloys are used about 80% in the steel industry and about 10% each in the hard metal and electrical industries.

Milling, grinding, brushing, polishing, filing – and all with a single device! This all-rounder is suitable for use in almost all sectors of industry The best results are achieved through digital sensorless control electronics. This ensures: * Consistently high torque at any speed between 5,000 and 15,000 rev/min. * Constant speeds at different loads. * Retrieval of power reserves: at maximum load a remarkable peak power of 1.5 kW. Above this the machine is shut down by the overload protection. * No pulsation in the low speed range. * Work results in smoother surfaces. Low maintenance costs and no unnecessary downtime * The motor is protected from overloading by an automatic cut-out. * Automatic cut-out if wear occurs to the carbon brushes. * Fully encapsulated sensorless electronics cannot be clogged with metallic particles. * Electrical surge protection prevents current peaks and protects the motor. Delivers the highest attainable degree of occupational safety and comfort.

Earthing Clear tasks relating to earthing arise from relevant norms and regulations: DIN VDE 0101: 9.3.4 Measuring for earthing of operating media and systems All exposed metal parts of electrical operating media which are not part of the operational power circuit (structures), which are part of the electrical network must be earthed.Insulated areas should be created in special cases. All metal parts which are not part of electrical operating media should be earthed, provided this is appropriate (e.g. due to accidental arcing, capacitive and inductive coupling). Betonbau generally realises this task through discretely-structured visible connections between the HPAS of the building and active plant components. This offers you the advantage of high process reliability and contributed to overall comprehension and verifiability for everyone. Reinforced concrete also offers enormous advantages in itself with regard to equipotential bonding and integration in earthing current circuits.
