The vario quick is an end-stop system with standardized adjustable workpiece end-stops. It saves valuable work preparation time and gives you significantly more flexibility. Since you always have the required clamping length on hand – without having to produce the end-stops yourself. The clamping length is set for the end-stop screws / blank screws via a threaded spindle. One half turn corresponds to 1 mm adjustment travel. The sets can be expanded individually with separately available end-stop and blank screws. The vario quick end-stop system can also be used stationary under specific conditions [table bore required]. As an alternative, we recommend our vario part system.

Large workpieces – large chucks – large clamping heads. So far so good, but sometimes you also have to machine smaller workpieces? Instead of buying large clamping heads with a small diameter, there is now a better alternative: the clamping head adapter. For example, it can basically turn a size 100 chuck into a size 65 chuck and you can then change your normal size 65 heads using this clamping head adapter. Your advantages are in-stock availability and a lower price for the smaller clamping heads. You also save the costs of purchasing new large clamping heads if you are already using smaller clamping heads. Changing the clamping head adapter is fast and easy with the suitable changer interface.

Standard Ball Cages Type LBK The belt cage is segmented in the required length and supplied ready for installation with balls. In the case of larger bearings and bearing elements, adjustment of the rotational resistance is simplified by using washers between the split inner or outer rings. The washers are made of stainless steel. For the coordination it is advisable to provide a theoretical starting gap of 0.5 mm in the design.

For optimal functioning of the wipers, the holes in the guide rails should be closed with plastic covers, which are included with every delivery. As a replacement, you can also order them individually.

The stop screws are screwed into the thread (option) of the guide rails. An attached rubber cap dampens the stop. For rail lengths with initial hole dimensions below L11 min. we deliver the drilling pattern offset by half a drilling jump.

In addition to the felt wipers, the metal wipers are inserted into the wiper plate and clipped on. They are used to remove coarse dirt such as metal shavings, welding spatter or wood dust from the track of the rail.

In the case of cassettes for screwing from below, the existing mounting holes are reworked so that screwing from below is possible. Please note any deviating positions of the holes and screw connection sizes.

For our bearing assemblies and linear systems, we use high-quality lubricants as standard that are suitable for most applications. Special operating conditions require special lubricants. Standard and special greases are available in the respective container sizes from us as accessories. They can be used when our bearing elements are used for the first time or for relubricating slewing rings.

Elastomer sleeves are available on request for Franke LSA slim bearings. They are used for tolerance compensation and for vibration decoupling. The smooth running can be significantly increased by an elastomer sleeve. Elastomer sleeves for the LSA 6/8 also offer additional sealing of the bearing due to the overlapping of the edges. Elastomer sleeves for Franke slim bearings are available from stock. They can be ordered when you buy a slim bearing and are then included in the delivery. For series production, elastomer sleeves are available by the meter for self-cutting. We recommend gluing the ends with cyanoacrylate glue (e.g. Loctite 406). The use of the elastomer sleeve slightly reduces the stiffness and accuracy of the bearing. The basic static load rating of the bearing also decreases slightly. We would be happy to advise you on the design and construction.

The bearing assemblies are equipped with the S10 boot seal as standard. Temperature: –30 ° C to +80 ° C (NBR). Max. Peripheral speed: 5 m / s. For the sealing of the construction (e.g. when using a bearing element) the seal can be ordered by the meter. The joint is then glued with Loctite 401® adhesive. Special seals are available on request. Franke offers Viton seals for high temperatures or aggressive media.
