The synchronous serial interface is a digital interface for absolute position and rotary measuring systems. It enables position and angular information to be transmitted digitally, absolutely and without bus overhead. As a result, it is especially well-suited for applications in which reliability and signal robustness are required in an industrial environment. Transmission is synchronous to the request of the controller, and one bit of the position value to be output is transferred with each clock pulse. The clock/data signals are transferred differentially via an RS 422 interface. Data formats are binary or Gray-encoded with a 24 or 25-bit position resolution. A parity bit for increased data security can also be attached to the data format ("SSI26"). Possible clocking frequencies are in the range from 60 kHz to 2 MHz, and update rates of up to 16 kHz can be achieved. The GasPro gas detector can be equipped with sensors for up to five gases with ATEX approval. With the option of equipping the gas detector individually with various sensors, the GasPro gas detector is ideal for use in sewers, sewage treatment plants, landfills, ships, chemical and oil processing industries. An important unique novelty "positive safety" display. The GasPro signals the status at a glance via a three-color LED, green display = everything OK, yellow display = still OK, but a check is due soon, red display = not OK Particularly noteworthy is the loud alarm at 95 db and the optical signaling indicated by two LEDs that can be recognized from each side. The measured gas concentrations are saved every 10 seconds and stored in the internal memory. In addition, various events (switching on, alarm, calibration) are stored in the memory. The collected data can be transferred to a PC with a USB cable. A charging station with interface or a calibration station are also available.

RetailConnect - the universal tool for data conversion from any source. Irrespective of device and version the integrated communication driver ensures smooth transmission. Flexible, robust and unique as regards the integration. RetailConnect allows communication between host systems and terminal equipment. Bidirectional transfer of master data and transactions (recordings and sales) is possible via RetailConnect. Transfers can be started time-controlled or via trigger file. RetailConnect is run capable as a service or manually as command line program.
