The incremental digital displays are used in combination with our high-precision displacement sensors 8738. The digital technology of these measuring systems satisfies high demands for precision and long service life, as is required more and more nowadays — in measuring laboratories — in production — in testing laboratories — in workshops and many other areas. The comparator function integrated as standard allows for direct evaluation of measurements almost in real-time; these can be processed further by a higher-level controller. A rather more comprehensive acquisition method is also integrated into the system.

Automation has never been so easy! The space miracle from HERMLE enables flexible workpiece handling on only 2 m² - process-safe around the clock. Here, the 6-axis robot unfolds its full automation potential in interaction with the storage unit and machine. Not only the robot has complete freedom of movement, but also the operator. Despite the extremely compact design, nothing is too close, too bulky or too cramped.

This deflectable pneumatic spindle is capable of compensating part and positioning tolerances when machining. This means that it is possible to trace a part contour with constant pressure and achieve uniform removal, even under fluctuating conditions. An optimum application for this system is, for example, the automated deburring of castings or machined components using an industrial robot. Adaptor flange (Order no. 003 012 557) to simplify the mounting of the system is available directly from us. The deflection force is individually infinitely adjustable using air pressure (2-6 bar), even during processing. This enables the removal rate to be perfectly adapted to the thickness of the burr. After deflection the pressurized air piston always returns the tool to the zero position against a positive stop. Hysteresis zero.

Maximum precision in a mini format The TOPlus premium chuck is ideal for high-precision clamping of delicate and thin-walled parts, as well as solid and massive parts. In combination with premium clamping heads and when clamping against the end-stop, you benefit from incredible run-out accuracy of ≤ 5 μm. That makes the standard TOPlus premium chuck a better and less expensive alternative to hydro-expansion and diaphragm clamping devices. In addition to high precision, the large opening stroke also facilitates automated loading of the machine – even if the robot is somewhat inaccurate. By the way, slight contact with the workpiece during loading has no negative effect on the TOPlus premium. Despite its high precision it remains »robust« and your process remains stable. The most accurate of all HAINBUCH chucks!
