The robust edge sanding machine - best suited for the edge area of large surfaces! Equipped with a height-adjustable bracket, the UNICO can be used both kneeling and standing. The low-maintenance and quiet running motor makes it a very reliable machine. The UNICO is the technically and ergonomically improved successor to the classic RANDMEISTER. Even areas with poor lighting conditions can be worked on more easily thanks to the very robust, integrated LED work light. The height-adjustable guide tube and the slewable bracket allow an individually adjustable working position and the sanding even when standing. The handle positioned on the attachment makes it easier to guide the machine. Applications with the UNICO: The UNICO is suitable for sanding wood and screed surfaces. The machine shows its strength, for example, when removing old, persistent layers of paint and lacquer.

For adhesive bonding and curing through UV radiation, LED spotlights and gas discharge lamps with liquid light guides, whose high irradiance enables curing and polymerization within seconds, are used. Exact measurements in order to monitor the irradiance and dose are required for the process control. Here, the UV sensor is exposed to the high irradiances and temperatures, which could lead to an impairment of the measurement results. The sensor series XT („eXtrem Temperature“) has been developed for this critical application. The XT sensors are suitable for up to 50.000 mW/cm² and operating temperatures of 150°C. At the same time, the XT sensors are compact and thus flexibly usable where needed. This is possible due to the separation of sensor-head and sensor-electronics. The XT sensor with its excellent cosine correction guides the light through a light guide into the calibrated sensor-electronic, which is integrated in the handpiece.

The UV measuring probes with 14 mm diameter only serve as compact, long-term, stable measuring heads for the supervision of UV irradiation systems and for UV measurements in inaccessible locations. In addition, optional water and light guide adapters enable the application in hot locations and in water disinfection systems. The integrated electronics generate a signal voltage that is transferred to the UV monitor RM-31 or to the PLC with low noise by a shielded cable.

The HP-120i is a high-intensity short arc light source for quick UV spot curing within seconds. As a microprocessor controlled spotlight source with light guide, HP-120i is a reliable and economical „cold“ light source for irradiation with high-intensity UV-A radiation and blue light. The heat transfer in the material is minimized due to the absence of ineffective red and near-infrared radiation. The spotlight source uses fiber-optic cables in various configurations for flexible irradiation of one to four points. Depending on the light guide, UV-A irradiances of up to 15,000 mW/cm² can be achieved. The exposure time can be set through a digital timer with a resolution of 0.1 s. The shutter can also be switched by a foot switch or via a PLC system controller by an external contact. The typical lamp life is 2,000 hours. To achieve uniform irradiation, the lamp power is stabilized.

The industrial spectroradiometer iSR900 is an autonomous and high-resolution measuring system for fast and precise measurements in the UV, visible spectral range and IR. The spectroradiometer consists of an array spectrometer without moving parts and a silicon detector with 2048 pixels. The spectral resolution is 0.44 nm. The iSR900 is combined with an SMA-905 quartz light guide and our radiometric measuring heads for irradiance and illuminance measurement. The iSR900 is factory calibrated to PTB. A DAkkS test in our accredited laboratory is optionally available. The iSR900 thus allows accurate spectroradiometric measurements for the evaluation of irradiance and illuminance. The low-scatter design achieves high sensitivity in the UV range. Control and data evaluation take place in the iSR900 so that only a USB or RS485 / RS232 interface is required for the evaluation. With trigger input and output the iSR900 is ideal for automated measurements.
