EWS quality now available for Swiss-type lathes. This new development in driven tools is EWS's response to many customers' requests. The tool systems may appear straightforward at first sight, but their simplicity belies their performance. The design concentrates on the mounting and the spindle concentricity. The requirement profile was developed jointly with an American medical technology company which uses very small drill bits and requires extreme concentricity properties. The spindle bearing technology used with labyrinth seals sets new standards in this field, and is associated with a long service life. Provision has already been made for service. The service centres in Germany, China, Korea and the USA have already been trained in the system and are ready to respond without delay. Third-party brands can also be serviced there at any time. Should you have not been able to find the suitable lath brush for your application although our standard range is most versatile, we trust that our special types might come up perfectly to your requirement. They also offer best quality to meet your most particular wishes. You can choose for instance between frame shape, angled or arched shape; special fixing devices such as round drill holes or slots; threaded, grooved or clamped holding devices. In case of large-scale requirement we also provide especially moulded plastic or metal cores made either by injection moulding or diecasting. Please see the index card "brush assembly" for the core material. Furthermore we have wood, steel, stainless steel, light or heavy metal in our assortment.

Many of our customers go for our standardised plastic cores for our lath brushes types 36 and 48, which offer advantages regarding the price and the availability. The plastic cores are available in PVC, PP and PE. They can be equipped with almost all fill materials, with your desired or our recommended trim height (BH) and fill configuration.Furthermore, by using these standard cores it is possible to produce lath brushes with special surfaces. Examples for surfaces: - profiled (concave, convex). - stepped (different trim heights (BH) in one brush). - inclined bristles lengthwise or in cross direction.

For fitting the standard brush types 36 and 37 we can supply our holders (C-profiles) of zinc plated steel from stock, with which the brushes can easily be replaced after wear. If you cannot use the standard types, it is advisable to use the advantages of our lath brushes standard cores. You can get the types listed in the table from stock.
