Original ink rolls in Meto quality are available for all Meto hand-labelers with standard ink (paper / indoor use) or with UV-resistant ink (plastic labels / outdoor labeling).

The JET3up PI is a pigment ink printer primarily used for cables and many other products with dark backgrounds. Data on dark surfaces such as cable must be printed with bright inks. But those present a major challenge for conventional inkjet printers because the pigments in contrast inks settle out. But not with the JET3up PI! The industrial inkjet printer has a unique stirring device that keeps the pigments in motion, thus keeping the ink in the printer always ready for use. This way LEIBINGER guarantees maximum print quality and highest reliability even for the use of pigmented inks. With the automatic nozzle seal "Sealtronic" in the JET3up MI, LEIBINGER can guarantee that the ink does not dry, even after long-term shut-downs. When production stops, the gutter and the nozzle form an airtight circuit: No ink may leak from the circulation and no air can come in. Even after long downtimes LEIBINGER inkjet printers are ready to print within a minute – without cleaning cycles.

During printing and coating processes, so-called ink mist or particle mist arise in the outlet of doubleroll systems. This unwanted particle deposit results in lower product quality, high maintenance costs, increased ink consumption and the contamination of the environment. The formation of ink mist is very noticeable and annoying, particularly during coating and printing processes on substrates with non-absorbent surfaces (films, metalized substrates or composite films). A patented double-row DC plasma electrode is used to prevent this ink mist. This plasma electrode acts separately on both particle streams and ensures an optimal particle deposit. The electrode will be connected to the high voltage generator HSG61. The MISTING TACKER system is currently used for printing on metalized films and in silicone coating units (Wifag-Polytype).

TAMPOPRINT offers a wide range of ink/doctoring cups for "hermetic" standard pad printing machines. Available are sizes with diameters of 30/40/60/90/130/140/150/210 mm in plastic, aluminum or steel with ceramic or carbide doctoring ring. Multi-color ink/doctoring cups, pressure rings and pressure ring adapters are also available. The ink/doctoring cup is used in the "hermetic" pad printing process to transfer the printing ink to the cliché in a single operation and simultaneously remove the ink (doctoring).

The SEALED INK CUP 90 Q is a single-color pad printing machine for the realization of oblong print images that are larger than the ink/doctoring cup used. Designed as an entry-level model, this machine offers a good basis for a variety of applications. As basic equipment this pad printing machine contains a base frame with practical storage space. This also ensures a stable stand and leads to high stability. Flexibility is provided by the height-adjustable angle table, which allows quick changeover to components of different sizes. With the user-friendly touch panel many machine parameters and functions can be controlled and set on the display.

A prerequisite for the adhesion of an adhesive or coating to a surface is wetting. For wetting to take place, the surface energy of the substrate must be greater than that of the coating. In particular, very many plastics have a very small surface energy and are correspondingly difficult to bond. Often the aim of a plasma treatment is to make a surface wettable and bondable. The wettability can easily be tested with test inks. Diener electronic supplies a test ink set with 8 liquids with surface tensions between 30 and 73 (105) mN/m suitable for most practical applications. There is also a set of 23 test inks, with additional gradations between 30 and 73 (105) mN/m.
