A utility needed to connect PV plants in the fields of Transylvania to a grid. The biggest challenge was to meet the client’s requirements as well as the National Grid Dispatcher's requirements, whose primary concern is the security of the system. Muscular and skeletal problems are the most common reasons for people being unable to work, particularly if they have a job that frequently involves physically strenuous activity like pushing and pulling loads. The electric drive systems of the Blickle ErgoMove® series reduce these health risks considerably. The effort required for pulling and pushing is reduced by up to 100 %. The physical strain on the operator is decreased during internal material transport due to the considerably lower amount of effort required compared with manual operation. Equipment and transport units of any kind can be quickly and easily upgraded with a “plug & play” electric drive, steering and braking assistance. Challenge To execute a pilot project at the Energisa distribution network operator in Brazil within a tight time frame. The customer needed to install 23 kV outdoor circuit breakers with protection at a newly erected substation. Solution Tavrida Electric supplied the Rec25 with substation mounting kit to meet the deadline and satisfy the customer’s requirements in terms of protection. The mounting kit was subjected to comprehensive mechanical tests including overweighting, wind load and seismic impact with successful results.

Thousands of nodding donkey oil pumps were energized through an extensive and highly meshed overhead electrical network. Automated protection was performed only by the feeder CB at the substation. None of the line sectioning breakers were automated, so every single failure on the network required human intervention and led to significant outages.
