The GEMÜ F40 2/2-way filling valve is designed for filling processes in aseptic and hygienic areas of application. Flow rates up to 6,600 l/h are possible depending on the version. The sealing concept of the valve is based on the GEMÜ PD design, whereby the actuator is hermetically separated from the medium. All actuator parts (except seals) are made from stainless steel. The filling valve is available in pneumatic design F40 (and electrical design F60). Air insulated switching module incorporates a Tavrida Electric vacuum circuit breaker with a per phase actuator, housed in a corrosion resistant tank. Six main circuit bushings, made from UVstable polymer, are covered with silicone rubber bushing boots. Each bushing has builtin current and voltage sensors for protection, measurement and indication purposes. The outdoor switching module is equipped with six, high voltage bushings with embedded current and voltage sensors. Current sensing is performed by Rogowski coil sensors. Capacitive sensors are used for voltage measurement in all six bushings. Tavrida Electric manufactures small vacuum interrupters with extremely long mechanical and electrical lifespans. A specially designed axial magnetic field distribution provides even current density over the contact surface and significantly improves the vacuum's interrupting performance.

Vacuum interrupter contacts have unique design, based on the mixture of copper and chromium metals and various dopants, to ensure long electrical life of contacts, low contacts resistance and chopping current. The patented, supercompact actuator design allows the circuit breaker to be installed directly underneath each pole. A spring charged by the magnetic actuator during the closing of the circuit breaker ensures main contacts pressure is maintained.
