In many projects insurance companies have the problem that the building to be insured is either not completely documented or was documented a long time ago, so that the available data is out of date. 3D laser scanning is an efficient way to detect the current condition of the building and all its details. The 3D data is particularly useful for insurance companies when it comes to the following tasks: Assessment of property value Surveying the inventory in 3D Calculation of areas In fact the 3D data is of particular importance in the case of damage. A new survey of the damaged object can be carried out and by using software, the condition before and after the damage can be compared and visualised directly. The amount of damage can be quantified much more precisely in comparison to a quantification without the use of 3D data.

The infrared camera Z+F T-Cam is an external solution to document rooms and objects not only three-dimensionally but also thermally. The camera generates 360° thermal panoramas with a resolution of 382x288 pixels. The infrared information is automatically being mapped onto the point cloud. The infrared spectral range is from 7.5 - 13 μm. By using the Z+F T-Cam, many new opportunities arise in the fields of insurance, facility management, industry and forensics. The T-Cam is easy to mount and is connected to the scanner via USB.

The H2Smart™ is an integrated sampling system designed to measure hydrogen content with high accuracy in nitriding and nitrocarburizing atmospheres and to calculate the parameters necessary for process control. Its unique measuring cell design and advanced electronics eliminate the need for a reference gas cell, thus simplifying the installation and usage. Moreover, the measuring cell is maintained at a set temperature to protect the system from condensation and contamination during nitrocarburizing and post oxidation processes. An integrated sampling pump with variable output insures reliable flow through the measuring cell. The sampling flow is continuously measured via an integrated mass flow meter, and, if necessary, the flow is adjusted by changing the pump output. In this manner, the closed-loop flow control assures reliable H2 measurement and thus accurate nitriding and nitrocarburizing control.
