Recovery of acids and acidic rinse waters Additionally to the pickling bath treatment by microfiltration and ultrafiltration, the recovery of acid becomes more and more important. Additionally to sulphuric and hydrochloric acid, also mixed acids (HF / HNO3) can be recovered. The first step of the acid recovery is mostly a sludge separation by microfiltration. Downstream, diffusion dialysis, electrodialysis or nanofiltration is used for metal separation.
