SPIROL’s GD100 Ground Hollow Dowels are designed to be direct replacements for Ground Solid Dowels manufactured per ISO 8734 when used in alignment applications. This innovative product is manufactured from strip steel, and then OD ground to achieve extremely tight diameter tolerances that enable critical alignment up to 20µm. The main advantage of the GD100 Ground Hollow Dowel is its ability to achieve the same alignment as the Ground Solid Dowel with a significant reduction in cost due to its hollow construction. In most scenarios, the Ground Hollow Dowel is approximately 50% lighter and at least 30% less expensive than the solid equivalent. The bristles of strip brushes are fitted in a metal backing tape. This allows the brushes to be mounted by means of holders or inserted into grooves. For example, as replacements for special circular and roller brushes. We supply all standard types in a length of 1.000 mm. We can supply seperate holders for fixing our strip brushes type 25 and type 40. The standard types are produced with backing strips of galvanized steel and filled with polyamide bristles (PA6) resp. mane hair (MAH). If your application allows we recommend you to use our standard types available from stock.

In our new production space, we have at our disposal 30 state-of-the-art automated punching & bending machines. In addition to bent wire parts, we also produce bent strip parts here. Production to order with complex forming: Bent strip parts are produced from a broad range of materials, including for instance stainless steel, alloyed or carbon steel, brass, copper, bronze, or even K55 or K75, a specially alloyed steel. We produce complex forms and assembly parts with a strip thickness of 0.15 to 3.00 mm and with a strip width of up to 120 mm; the strip thickness will be dependent on the material. Our special types consist of 10 types of strip brushes with metal backing widths from 1,8 mm to 13,5 mm, which we can produce in a large range of variations.You can choose:- All fill types, e.g. natural bristles and hair, plant fibres, wires and synthetic filaments. - The backing strip material made of galvanized steel, stainless steel (1.4301, 1.4571) or brass.- The trim height (BH) (free bristle length)- The overall length from a few centimeters to the maximum length which can be transported. The strip brush type 60 will mainly be mounted in half-rings with various numbers of grooves around the periphery and therefore used as a roller brush. The ring diameters are 80 mm, 100 mm and 102 mm. We can supply holders for fixing the strip brush type 25 and type 40.
