The strip brushes in cup form are also an all-purpose brush type. For special tasks we offer the dimensions from 20 mm to 1000 mm and through that cover a wide spectrum of applications. We provide you the following selection criterias: - All fill materials possible, e.g. natural bristles and hair, plant fibres and synthetic filaments. - As backing material we use galvanised steel-, stainless steel (1.4301, 1.4571) or brass tape. The same possibilities are available for the production of strip brushes in arch form, not only in semi circle form but also in any other pitch circle form. The larger the dimensions the better multiple brush segments can be mounted around the perimeter.

Our special types consist of 10 types of strip brushes with metal backing widths from 1,8 mm to 13,5 mm, which we can produce in a large range of variations.You can choose:- All fill types, e.g. natural bristles and hair, plant fibres, wires and synthetic filaments. - The backing strip material made of galvanized steel, stainless steel (1.4301, 1.4571) or brass.- The trim height (BH) (free bristle length)- The overall length from a few centimeters to the maximum length which can be transported. The strip brush type 60 will mainly be mounted in half-rings with various numbers of grooves around the periphery and therefore used as a roller brush. The ring diameters are 80 mm, 100 mm and 102 mm. We can supply holders for fixing the strip brush type 25 and type 40.

The bristles of strip brushes are fitted in a metal backing tape. This allows the brushes to be mounted by means of holders or inserted into grooves. For example, as replacements for special circular and roller brushes. We supply all standard types in a length of 1.000 mm. We can supply seperate holders for fixing our strip brushes type 25 and type 40. The standard types are produced with backing strips of galvanized steel and filled with polyamide bristles (PA6) resp. mane hair (MAH). If your application allows we recommend you to use our standard types available from stock.

The KULLEN roller brush type 350 is one of our "highlights" as it consists of a lightweight aluminium core with horizontal grooves where strip brushes are fitted in.Two standardized aluminium cores are available:For our brush type 350/54 with 20 horizontal grooves,which means the brush consists of max. 20 strip brushes around the circumference.For our brush type 350/85 with 36 horizontal grooves, which means the brush consists of max. 36 strip brushes around the circumference. The fill configuration is either dense (EC1) or light (EC2) which means an axial strip configuration.You can use almost alll type of fill material except synthetic bristles exceeding dia. 0.60 mm and wires exceeding dia. 0.20 mm. The strip brushes for the roller brush types 350 are mounted in the profiled aluminium tube cores - either with standard bore (AL 31 resp. 60 mm) to be seated on a primary shaft. - or with reduced bore by bushes to be seated on a primary shaft. - or with journals.

As you are able to receive the strip brush with the bristles facing outwards, it is no problem for Kullen-Koti to produce the same brushes with the bristles facing inwards. Even with these brushes you have a dimensional range that cannot be reached with any other brush construction. Kullen-Koti roller brushes 302 are indeed unique and easy-to-handle: you only purchase the roller brush core once and easily refill it yourself with the corresponding strip brushes after wear. And besides, it is a very economical brush system. The ruged construction allows problem-free operation also in adverse conditions. Roller brushes type 302 consit of a tubular steel or stainless steel core and exchangeable strip brushes which are mounted in axial direction around the circumference. The brush core can be supplied either with journals or with arbor hole for mounting on the existing primary shaft. With the roller brush type 302 (mS) the strip brushes are fixed in side flanges. With type 302 (oS) the strip brushes are fixed directly on the tubular core with clamping plates. Our special types of sealing brushes consist of 16 particular plastic profiles which we can supply in a comprehensive range of variations. The two constructions of sealing brushes are: Strip brush construction: that means our strip brushes with metal backing are mounted in plastic profiles. Punched brush construction: consisting of a solid plastic profile with bundle holes in which the fill material has been mechanically anchored. We offer antistatic brushes with carbon fibre or stainless steel yarn. The stainless steel yarn consists of stainless chrome-nickel-molybdenum steel. The fine stainless steel filaments are twisted to a yarn. This yarn has high resistance to abrasion, even when subjected to continuous mechanical load. The standard type AB10 is available from stock. Carbon fibres are excellent conductors, thanks to the high proportion of carbon which they contain. The variable distance between the tufts make carbon-fibre strip brushes the ideal choice for difficult static removal applications. The excellent conductivity of these brushes can also be used to allow voltages to be applied to the surface of workpieces. The standard type AB20 is available from stock.

Hand brushes with wooden cores are available in a variety of widths (multiple rows). Strip-type hand brushes have a slimmer working surface for precision work, specifically on the cavities in profiled surfaces. Hand brushes help in cleaning, derusting, paint removal and polishing processes.

This special Metzner development is able to process cable wires with a diameter of up to 28 mm. The cycle time for this is 2000 mm / 35 seconds. The processing steps include long slitting, sawing, circumferential cutting, stripping, brushing and depositing. An integrated ink jet printer labels the cable wires with information or markings. As the heart of the processing method, Metzner uses a newly developed stripping head that combines a rotary cut with a powerful clamping and simultaneous rotation of the material. This enables a high-precision, multi-stage radial cut through the various layers of material. Microscopic quality inspection confirms that the processing is flawless with no scratches, pressure or abrasion marks. In addition to the high machining quality, the machinery also offers special precision: both the overall length and the machining position are maintained with an accuracy of 0.2 mm. The machine can process cable wires with diameters up to 28 mm.
