Blown film consistent quality by the roll At Dürrbeck you can expect a large selection of tubular film in various widths and thicknesses and with a range of features. This variety is important as products vary in their shapes and sizes, and require different levels of protection. Plastic blown film is especially suitable for products with adjustable lengths. Blown film is typically made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE). Polyethylene is affordable, durable, watertight and tear-resistant. Depending on how it will be used, we also produce plastic blown film made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), medium-density polyethylene (MDPE), and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE). Blown film made of DKFol®-Eco and DKFol®-Eco-Coex offers especially high strength with low thickness. These films allow for a reduction in thickness, without compromising on strength and stability.

In general, a Kapton film heater is always more expensive than a silicone heater or polyester heater. Where chemical resistance or the weight of the flexible heating element plays an important role, however, Kapton heaters are the ideal solution. The resistance of Kapton Polyimide to fungi, bacteria, ozone, weather, ageing and most chemicals, acids and solvents is very good, so that heating elements made of Polyimide (Kapton) are an ideal solution for many critical applications. Kapton foil heaters are also silicone-free and are characterised by an even heat distribution. The dielectric strength of a Polyimide film is very high and so the flexible Kapton (Polyimide) heater can be very thin. Due to the small thickness, the heat transfer to the component is improved and higher surface loads are possible. Typical applications for Kapton film heaters are: Laboratory technology, aircraft electronics, printers, diagnostic instruments, vacuum chambers, medical equipment and many more.

Polyester films are usually transparent, flexible and have a high mechanical strength. Polibond is a polyester film with a special transparent matt surface. The chemical primer changes the surface structure of the polyester film and this enables greater adhesion to the surface. The strength of the adhesion can optionally be changed. Polibond has excellent anchorage values ​​for impregnating agents.

POLIFILM offers protection film solutions for polyester based paint systems with different gloss levels, plastisol and also for PVDF based paint systems. For these applications we typically use high strength films with various adhesion levels. High strength films are able to resist formation forces of painted metals. The required weathering resistance of these films determines, which protection film can best match the customers` requirements. Typical weathering performance varies between 3 and 12 months. Our product assortment comprises transparent films and black / white films, which can be printed according to customer requirements. Our cover sheets serve for the effective protection from dust, dirt and moisture during interior and exterior work. We produce a large range of cover sheets in various strengths. All films are delivered on rolls.
