The strong CERTO®-PERFECT special sealed blind rivet forms a large and smooth closing head by its special clamped rivet sleeve. This head makes sure that the danger of pull through in case of oversized bore holes can be reduced to a minimum. Additionally the tightness in standing water is increased significant.

HONSEL ALFO® FLEX blind rivets have been specially optimised for often problematic riveting in very soft materials or with slightly too large drill hole diameters. Due to the thinner wall thickness of the blind rivet sleeve, less force is required to deform the blind rivet sleeve. This improved deformation leads to a higher residual rivet mandrel locking. A thinner wall thickness of the blind rivet sleeve also means less influence on the hardening fluctuations caused by the annealing process. Result: The riveting function is much more consistent compared to conventional rivets. The blind rivet connection itself is a non-detachable connection. However in order to be able to attach further detachable components GESIPA® has the threaded blind rivet in its product range. The threaded blind rivet has a stud with M5 or M6 external thread to which further parts can be mounted using an additional nut.

GESIPA® profile clinching blind rivets are ideal for maintaining defined distances during component assembly or for setting a stop in running rails. Accordingly this special rivet is used in the white goods and furniture industry among others.

Expanding blind rivets are required when soft or porous components such as wood, hard fiber, fiberglass or plasterboard are to be joined together with a high clamping force. During the setting process the mandrel drops out of the hollow rivet and on the closing head side the mandrel divides the hollow rivet into four parts. These then claw into the material. Typical applications are plastic and wooden element assembly, caravan construction and the fastening of interior trim.

Grooved blind rivets are suitable for riveting in blind holes in soft materials. They are used in the furniture industry, in interior fittings, in the wood and plastics processing industry, in car body construction and many more. Important: Before processing the grooved blind rivets, the drill hole diameter must be determined by testing and the minimum drill hole depth must be observed.

The HONSEL Rivdom eBZ 3 battery riveter was developed specially for the demands of the setting of high-strength blind rivets with 6.4 and 7.8 mm diameter with grooved rivet stud! The clamping jaws specially designed for this geometry and a modified clamping mechanism guarantee reliable and positive settings of high-strength blind rivets with a stud diameter from 3.8 to 6.15 mm.
