The HONSEL HEADLESS blind rivet nut is a typical example of product development at Honsel. Originally designed and produced as a special solution, the nut has been incorporated directly into the standard range due to the great interest shown. The blind rivet nut is set with a projection of 0 mm in smooth holes, without countersinking. The elimination of the "countersinking" process at the hole offers enormous savings potential. Thanks to the 0 mm protrusion, components can be assembled without interfering edges or can slide over each other. . KB Schmiedetechnik GmbH is a highly certified West German drop forge, located in Hagen (Westphalia) - between the historic "blade & metal" region Solingen and the "soccer city" Dortmund - specializing in small series production of safety-relevant closed die forgings from 200g to 130Kg unit weight of all steel grades including duplex stainless steels, nickel based and titanium alloys. Due to the 24° taper (with o-rings) located on the fitting body itself, STAUFF Connect Tube Fittings with 24° Taper / O-Ring (DKO) represent a logical further development of traditionally available adjustable standpipe tube fittings with factory-assembled cutting rings and union nuts. The retention function is assured by a special swivel nut with a wire-pin located in a groove, which is factory-assembled by the manufacturer. The embedded o-ring on the 24° taper ensures a high level of protection against leakage. Thanks to the large number of available types and designs, almost all common types and combinations of adjustable fittings can be implemented. With regards to their dimensioning and general design, STAUFF Connect Tube Fittings with 24° Taper / O-Ring (DKO) fully comply with the latest versions of the ISO 8434-1 standard. They are thus completely interchangeable with conventional adjustable standpipe tube fittings.
