The ArcuDent tooth coupling is a double-jointed steel coupling. The teeth of the hubs and covers receive shape corrections to allow the highest misalignment capacity. It is a flexible, but nonetheless torsion-resistant coupling. Displacement sensors models 8710 and 8711 with resistance tracks made of conductive plastic material are designed for a direct and accurate measuring of mechanical displacements. A special ball joint coupling is mountable on both ends of the driving rod. Because of this the sensor may be used free of clearance or lateral forces also with angular or parallel misalignment between sensor and measuring device. A special multi-fingered slider provides a good electrical contact also at high adjustment speeds or vibrations. Plastic-coated steel cablestrands are cut to length using a special shear cut module and then stripped with the cutting module of the AM3500 without the wires "jumping open".Bare steel cable wires are transported by the modified AM 3500 directly to the special cutting machine, which is coupled between the AM 3500 and the material stacker and which cuts the material to length by a thermal process. Due to the special electric welding process used here, the individual wires do not twist up during cutting, and a smooth rope start and a smooth rope end without thickening are produced. Long steel cable wires/strands are placed in a tray after processing, while short pieces of material fall down a chute into a collecting container. With the high-performance solution developed by Metzner, the customer can process different types of material in different processes. Application The universal reamer for all types of holes, particularly for in-line reaming of two or more holes and for reaming very long holes. Description Right-hand cutting reamer with expanding blades. Interchangeable pilots with guide sleeves at the front as well as at the back of the reamer. The guide sleeves provide for exact alignment between the hole being reamed and the other mating holes. A special bayonet coupling with mating cones between each pilot and the reamer body ensures correct alignment. Due to the unique Hunger relief grinding operation the blades have a progressively increasing clearance angle giving a soft cutting action. The adjusting nut is marked with a annular scale. One graduation of the scale corresponds to a change of the reaming diameter by 0,02 mm. The reamers are available with standard blades made of high quality special steel to ensure superior cutting performance. The reamers are also available with hard chromium coated blades.
