Secure connections for rough operational conditions In some applications standard connectors are not suitable – for example where space is at a premium or in very demanding operating conditions. This is where our special connectors come into play. While they offer a high degree of connection security, they only have a minimal space requirement. Among other applications, these special connectors are used in the army or by rail vehicle manufacturers.

The special Irus connectors are particularly suitable for mounting all panels e.g. whiteboards, cork boards, felt walls and aluminium hinged frames to our aluminium profile ( Flexi-Long ). They allow you to design any conceivable wall configuration in four different directions per profile, either rigid or movable. You can combine them all. The corresponding connectors are simply screwed to the back of the walls. They can then be mounted, erected and designed as desired. The number of connectors only depends on the size of the different walls. The bigger and heavier the walls, the more connectors have to be screwed to the back of them.

The semi-finished products manufactured by Embro GmbH are optionally available with an electrical connection. In addition to the many possibilities of placing different elements on carrier materials with special embroidery processes, Embro offers splicing or soldering techniques for perfect and cost-effective connections. A flexible and cost-effective way of connecting tubes to each other reliably and stably. RK Rose+Krieger developed the precision-cast stainless steel tube connectors specially for heavy loads and impact-resistance. The high-strength tube connectors are resistant to high temperatures and corrosion, and are engineered for dynamic loads. An electrochemical passivation – the tube connectors are electropolished in a final working step – makes them more resilient and resistant to acids than elements made of untreated stainless steel. As a result they are particularly resistant to cleaning with aggressive cleaning agents or hot water from high-pressure cleaners, and ideally suitable for use in packaging machines or for feeding technology in plants in the chemicals industry. Stainless steel clamp connectors are tough. Stainless steel clamps are particularly important for users working in the fields of chemical and food technology.

Special applications have special requirements for connectors. For this field of application, CONEC developed water-tight D-SUB connectors with rating IP67. Owing to special sealing measures at the connector and the sealing frame, the high requirements are met. These connectors are used where dust and spray water occur and functioning of usual connectors would be negatively affected. These connectors are available as standard or high density in the usual pole number.

For industrial applications in harsh environments, connector systems meeting such special requirements are needed. For our IP67 connectors are special hoods in plastic or plastic metallized available. Our hoods can also be combined with a broad range of applicable accessories of the CONEC programm for shielding, sealing and securing of connections and interfaces. For applications requiring not only IP protection, but also protection against electromagnetic interference in sensitive signals, CONEC offers a metalized version with shield connection at the cable strain relief.

Due to their special plastic PBT housings they are predestined for applications in environments where oils, lubricants, salts, dust, brake fluids and other types of contamination may be found. The plastic connector is resistant to corrosive influences. The connectors are characterised by high ruggedness, superior IP protection, a very good shock and vibration resistance as well as resistance to oil derivatives and temperature variations. Also available in a high voltage version.

This connector is specially designed for mesh-reinforced flexible tubes. As all of the Generation+ connectors, it consists of only two parts: the connector body and the pressure screw. The clamping ring is incorporated into the pressure screw. An extra clamping ring is not required. The thread and connecting sleeve are integrated inside in the connector body. The advantage: they cannot be damaged and are protected against external effects.

BEULCO gate valves enable safe shut-off of parts of the pipeline network or a system. The slides are designed so that spindle overruns and spindle breaks are not possible.
