It is the central unit for triggering an emergency shut-down of the engine to avoid damage. Thanks to its compact and robust design, it is particularly suitable for use on ships, directly on combustion engines. Signal processing with the safety system is purely digital. Together with fast, crystal-accurate speed acquisition, it ensures maximum safety and system reliability.

Versatile multi-axis system designed for feeding machine stations. The Y axis can be realized with a rack and pinion driving system for multiple independent carriages or with a short belt system for connected Z axes. The combination of crane control and wireless control concept creates the link between an operator and a crane and thus makes optimum load handling a tangible experience. Absolutely safe operation of a crane or a system of several cranes must always be guaranteed – safety for the crane operator as well as for the transported goods and surrounding infrastructure. The smart Demag SafeControl system enables independent and continuous monitoring of a crane on the basis of a largely redundant control concept to bring the system to a standstill independently if any irregularities occur. Furthermore, dangerous conditions can be identified and prevented in advance. The crane operator can concentrate fully on his/her work at all times thanks to the safety control system. A crane can be conveniently and intuitively controlled by radio, which is also very efficient. The mechanical back-up design uses SPIROL® Disc Springs. Under normal circumstances, the hydraulic system holds a constant pressure on Disc Springs stacked in series. If pressure fails to be maintained, the stack of Disc Springs decompresses to actuate the braking mechanism. A compression spring or wave spring is not capable of providing the force required (in the space available) to actuate the brakes. Temperature controllers of the teco series cd are designed for the operation with water and direct cooling up to 95 °C or 120 °C. The temperature of the process water is controlled automatically. A temperature sensor, installed inside the unit, measures available actual temperature. The microprocessor control with membrane keyboard or touchscreen operation compares measured value and preselect set value and controls heating or cooling. The Pressure Switch F01 fulfils the high requirements of the EN13849-1 Machinery Directive. The F01 can be used for systems with Performance Level PL d and for safety-critical applications. The F01 has an E1 approval. The F01 is available for pressure ranges from 10 to 1200 bar and has two switching outputs which switch inverted to each other. The F01 is also available with one switching and one analog output. The current output is read back by the F01 to ensure the output signal is emitted correctly. To be able to use the F01 in many applications, users can select different pressure connections. The electrical contact takes place via a 5-pole M12 connector. Through the calibration of the transmitter via temperature, a total accuracy of 1 % FS can be achieved within a range of 0...80 °C. The maximum media temperature totals +125 °C.
