In the production of rubber grommets and rubber seals, we use tools with special coatings and tooling concepts that prevent the adhesion of rubber parts (including TPE, EPDM). With this protocol, we guarantee safe mass production.

Cellular rubber made by KOPP is the ideal material for sealing, insulating, insulating, dampening and as rattle protection. Cellular rubber is a porous, closed-cell rubber quality that is available in various strengths and densities. It is manufactured using the so-called expansion process - based on natural and/or synthetic rubbers, such as EPDM and other synthetic elastomers. Cellular rubber is airtight and waterproof and therefore (unlike foam rubber) does not require an outer skin to be used as a seal. Elastomers are macro-molecular, organic substances with little cross-linked structure. As a result, they do not melt, are insoluble, partly subject to swelling and are elastic. Elastomers are based on rubber which is processed into various kinds of synthetic rubber, depending on the monomer. The various kinds of synchetic rubberdiffer slightlys in their properties so that they are used for different applications with regard to temperature, hardness, elasticity etc. In addition to generally common mouldings such as Orings, our delivery range also includes customized mouldedarticles, profi le cords, punched or cut seals manufactured to specifi cations or to drawings, plates or rollers. Bonded seals are a cost-effective solution for bolt/thread sealing. They offer reliable high and low pressure sealing capability and are able to perform in a wide range temperatures. The seal itself is made up of a disc consisting of a metallic ring and a rubber sealing pad bonded together.

The »All-rounder« with particularly gentle and fine adjustment of the pressure between the transport belts. Ideal for soft and elastic material. The ST-OB is available in Red or Green versions. The Metzner ST-OB is for cutting cables & strands up to 30 mm diameter. Thanks to the gentle adjustment of the pressure between the transport belt also optimal for cutting rubber seals. Traditionally, our rubber-to-metal seals are used in the engine and transmission sectors, often with the elastomer FKM / FPM.
