The KAUP Rotating Fork Clamp T451 is an attachment designed with high visibility. Its solid, strengthened construction using 1000-fold proven basic components of the KAUP modular system gives numerous possibilities for heavy duty applications.

Automatic clamping takes place over disc springs, which are adjustable in the pre-loading and are solved pneumatically to the workpiece change. Manual clamping is made by a knurled knob on the opposite side of the collet. Due to the integration into the existing through-hole of the rotary table, the rotary table with the clamping system remains very compactly. Pneumatic Rotational Clamping Holding torque 76 Nm Direct clamping on the shaft: Rotation motions are prevented by the ACE models LOCKED R. Their clamping elements are available for shaft diameters of 50 to 340 mm and ensure maximum holding forces. The clamp is immediately applied by the diaphragm and spring-plate system when pressure is lost. Pneumatic quick-switch valves reduce the reaction times. The costs are low in comparison with hydraulic clamping systems. Their performance is, however, achieved or exceeded despite the compact and easy to assemble design. Special versions for YRT bearings as well as active clamping elements are additionally available. ACE recommends the use of the optional shaft flange as wear protection. The clamping force can be increased considerably by the use of the additional air function.

Based on its many years of experience in the development and production of high-quality machine components, GMN has chosen to specialize in the production of efficient, long-life sprag type freewheel clutches. The standardized model series offer a large selection of feature options to furnish effective freewheel clutch solutions for almost any field of application. The functional principle of sprag type freewheel clutches is based on static friction. A certain number of sprags are in constant friction contact with the connecting parts. Sprags are components with variable height. They are uprighted when the connecting parts are rotated and clamped between the connecting parts while there is static friction between sprags and connecting parts. The static friction is guaranteed by a specific geometry (clamping angle) of the sprags to the connecting parts. GMN sprag type freewheel clutches can be used as indexing clutches, backstops or as overrunning clutches.

The combination with a rotary unit extends the application possibilities of the bale clamp of KAUP even more. Because with the Rotating Bale Clamp T453 the rotating and turning of goods without palettes like cellulose bale, material bale, paper bale, waste paper bale or tobacco bale become easily possible. The insides of the clamp arms of this attachment are optimised for the respective transport purpose. Generally the fixed arms are designed with toe-in.

With the new view-optimised designed KAUP Rotating Roll Clamp T458B-2 roles and pipes can be taken up and transported carefully. The contact pad of this attachment is divided and allows in such a way that at the same time two roles - also with different diameters - can be transported stacked. This makes this attachment everywhere inalienable where the dandling of paper rolls, concrete tubes and similar is essential.

This special Metzner development is able to process cable wires with a diameter of up to 28 mm. The cycle time for this is 2000 mm / 35 seconds. The processing steps include long slitting, sawing, circumferential cutting, stripping, brushing and depositing. An integrated ink jet printer labels the cable wires with information or markings. As the heart of the processing method, Metzner uses a newly developed stripping head that combines a rotary cut with a powerful clamping and simultaneous rotation of the material. This enables a high-precision, multi-stage radial cut through the various layers of material. Microscopic quality inspection confirms that the processing is flawless with no scratches, pressure or abrasion marks. In addition to the high machining quality, the machinery also offers special precision: both the overall length and the machining position are maintained with an accuracy of 0.2 mm. The machine can process cable wires with diameters up to 28 mm.

Depending on the subsurface (steel, copper, aluminium or titanium zinc), this stainless steel anchorage point can be installed on a metal roof using either aluminium or brass clamps. It is simply attached to a standing or copper standing seam using the specially-designed clamps supplied - completely penetration-free. Simply clamp this freely-rotating stainless steel anchorage point onto a rounded-edge seam without penetrating your roof surface. As it is only attached to one single seam, you can work with it irregardless of the seam distance. The standard package includes specially-designed aluminium clamps which you can install without having to penetrate the roof membrane.
