The energy market called for technical solutions contributing to a mains stabilization and benefiting from the potential of favourable energy prices at the same time. The warm water boilers can be delivered in a power range from 35 kW up to 1.2 MW whereas the hot water boilers are available with a capacity of max. 10 MW. By means of parallel or series connection of several systems the power range can be extended optionally. The functional principle of warm and hot water boilers relies on the direct heating of flowing water via numerous resistance heating elements. The HH17/19 potentiometers in Ø22 mm housing are suitable for applications where a long lifespan and very high-resolution multiturn potentiometer is important. The high-resolution precision potentiometers of the HH17/19 series have a wire-wound resistor element, which is finished with a conductive plastic layer. Thus, the so-called winding jumps are omitted and the resolution is almost infinite. Due to the smooth surface of the resistance element, the hybrid potentiometer has a significantly longer life and qualifies it as a position feedback in closed loop control circuits. The shaft diameters is Ø6,35 / Ø6.00 mm (HH17 / HH19) and is equipped with a screwdriver slot. In addition, an optional integrated slipping clutch protects the potentiometer from damage by overrunning the end stops and facilitates the zero point adjustment. The potentiometer is available in a 3, 5 or 10 turn version.

Potentiometric linear displacement transmitters comprise high-resolution wirewound resistance elements, capable of measuring length up to 1 m with high accuracy and a linearity of ± 0,1%.
