Compacted material terminals made from Cu-ETP1 and Cu-OF1, in bare and tin-plated, nickel-plated and silver-plated upon request, in hard or soft annealed. Cross-section ranging from 1 mm² to 95 mm² depending on welding area. Compact welded terminals of different copper strands can be automated processed. A production of individual parts is possible as well as large-scale production. Resistance welded strands by LEONI are particularly suitable for high-voltage battery connectors, for high power connectors, for switch contacts and for special applications.

The round tubes are manufactured from a coil that is bent and electric resistance welded (ERW). The forming process can be according to EN 10210, which foresees hot forming or cold forming followed by heat treatment, or according to EN 10219, which foresees cold forming without following heat treatments. The finished product is fully killed and welding seam bead is inside and outside trimmed. These products are used to manufacture both welded and bolted structures, in the field of constructions, engineering, industrial constructions, transports, automotive, agricultural machinery and earth moving machinery. The cold finished tubes are particularly suitable for structures at sight or for aesthetical uses, thanks to the surface aspect typical of cold forming. HB3 hygiene box – a worldwide novelty on the market HB3 is the first and only completely closed pallet box on the market with welded runners. The new HB3 box in industrial size (outer dimensions, l x w x h: 1200 x 1000 x 790 millimetres) consists of two one-piece injection-moulded elements: the box body as the top part and the pallet with three welded runners as the bottom part. Another special feature: A patented weld seam geometry for joining both plastic elements ensures maximum impact resistance and break strength; the weld seam is contour-milled and therefore almost invisible. The HB3 box, with a tare weight of approx. 42 kilograms (without reinforcement profiles), can carry a volume of max. 580 litres and withstand a stacking load of 5000 kilograms. The box is extremely rigid thanks to the welding of top and bottom part. Three additional metal reinforcement profiles (available as an option) permit a further increase of bending stiffness.

The very different requirements created by diverse welding techniques mean that specific products have to be specially developed. The industrial fabrics we use have specific coatings that leave the cover flexible but resistant to spatter and weld splashes. Their para-aramid base has excellent mechanical strength.
