BORSIG has been manufacturing centrifugal compressors for process gases for almost 60 years. The BORSIG centrifugal compressor series comprises multistage integrally geared centrifugal compressors with up to 8 stages, with steam turbine, gas turbine or electric motor as driver with all auxiliary equipment (turnkey solutions) according to customer’s requirements. The compressors comply with the corresponding API design standards such as API 617 (chapter 3) and 672 (4th edition). The oil system is designed according to API 614 or manufacturer's standard. The development is based on the latest research results in fluid mechanics as well as in gear and bearing design.

The first approach for the development of new processes and the research of scientific effects is the application of standardized laser systems. When the requirements on scientific research advance, they equally rise with regard to the laser systems. For optimum results in scientific research and development, diode lasers with very precise specifications are indispensable. Operating and monitoring the system with defined and fixed parameters such as the power distribution and wavelength is essential for the accurate collection and evaluation of data and will lead to reliable results. Provisioning an outright laser system will further enable scientists to actually focus on their actual research. As complete solution the system can furthermore be directly integrated into the security system, providing a safe operation for your team of experts.

The plasma cutting machines Q 3000 and Q 3000 plus combine precise, highest-level plasma cutting and marking with a maximum cutting current of 300A. Thanks to the modular design, the machine performance of the Q 3000 plus can later be upgraded and, thus, adapted to the customer's requirements. The specially developed browser-based operator interface Q-Desk provides real-time process data and information of all plant components on any standard device and location-independent. The user benefits from extensive information enabling him to plan and execute a variety of maintenance tasks as guided by the system. This generation of plasma cutting systems is the result of intensive research and development work by Kjellberg and a landmark in the 60 years of Kjellberg's plasma history. Being the smallest model of the new Q series, the Q 1500 achieves precise plasma cuts at the highest level for material thicknesses of up to 60 mm and with a maximum cutting current of 150 A.
