The overall braid has a vibration-reducing function and prevents unrevelling of the rope. Ropes with overall braids are mainly suitable for automotive, industrial applications and for connectors.

The CM-Sensors are specially designed for demanding applications: They withstand high pressures up to 100 bars (and more) at temperatures up to 190 °C. At conventional sensors with a similar size the probe head must be kept free from surrounding conductive objects, in order to avoid pre-attenuation of the measuring system. STAUFF NRC type clamps were designed for the noise and vibration reducing installation of pipes and tubes with the most common outside diameters between 6 and 42 mm and ¼ to 1 ½ inch respectively. The portal milling machine FZ40 compact is designed for the machining of hard materials as well as aluminum. The inherently rigid machine structure allows for simultaneous 5-axis high speed machining. This compact machine, with its solid cast base does not require a foundation. The machine table is integrated into the cast baseplate, which allows up to 16 metric tons of table load. Eight mounting elements of the FZ40 compact reduce vibration – the basic requirement for high accuracy and optimum surface quality. The sidewalls are filled with a special dampening concrete mix to further enhance performance. The machine has a fully enclosed working space with a fixed machine table. miko is one of the smallest compressor cooling systems currently available on the market. Although it has compact dimensions, the miko offers an extremely high power density and temperature stability of +/- 0.1 K. The mini-tower version measures just 350 x 200 x 330 mm and delivers a refrigeration capacity of up to 400 W, depending on ambient conditions, and the plug-in version delivers between 400 and 800 W with a height of just 3 or 4 RU (rack units). It features 24 V miniature compressors which are on a par with the large versions on a 230 V basis and also include a speed control unit. This power density means that miko offers an attractive and efficient alternative to Peltier coolers, including for high ambient temperatures.
