SPIROL manufactures Coiled Spring Pins out of 316 stainless steel to meet specific application requirements. Type 316 stainless steel is similar to 302/304 stainless steel with a slightly higher nickel content and the addition of molybdenum. The molybdenum content increases the chemical resistance of this alloy greatly. 316 exhibits superior pitting resistance against sea water, acetic acid vapors, chlorides, sodium and calcium brines, hypochlorite solutions, phosphoric acid, and the sulfite liquors and sulfurous acids used in the paper and pulp industry. This alloy is also austenitic, non-magnetic and non-hardenable using conventional methods. 316 stainless steel has better mechanical properties at elevated temperatures than 302/304 and offers excellent mechanical integrity at subzero temperatures. The Lapmaster Wolters Model 20 is a bench mounted unit with a heavy duty carbon steel weldment base. The model 20 is ideal for engineering workshops, where flatness and finish are of prime importance. It is equipped with a 508mm diameter serrated lap plate, manufactured from Grade 300 grey cast iron to ISO 185(2005) as standard. In-shop lapping reduces costs of component processing and equipment maintenance programs. Worn parts are reconditioned and salvaged, thus eliminating scrap. The pneumatic lift version of the Lapmaster Wolters Model 20 is based on the open face machine. Pressure weights are attached through self-aligning bearings to the rods of the pneumatic cylinders. The cylinders are mounted on a framework located over the lap plate on an upright column. The primary function of the pneumatic arrangement is to permit loading and unloading to be carried out without the need to lift pressure weights manually.

The EPC SMC is equipped with an integrated proportional valve. This allows the analyser to automatically regulate the gassing in a wide range of processes. All settings for the control can be configured on the unit or via external signals. This means that the customer is not required to control the process completely manually. Our EPC 3GAS analyser is a more flexible variation of the basic model. The device changes the measurement automatically or externally controlled in order to monitor several processes simultaneously or consecutively. The change of the currently active measurement from process 1. to process 2. is done either by an external signal or in an adjustable time interval. Since our sensors can determine the oxygen concentration very quickly, time intervals of 30 seconds are realistically achievable.
