The DIGISTANT® model 4420 universal calibrator, built to use in the field, is ideal for checking and calibrating temperature measurement and control devices. The versatile functions of this portable unit allow to be used on-site or at a fixed location, on the test floor or in the laboratory. The unit allows the simulation and measurement of voltages, currents, temperatures and resistances.Simultaneous transmission and measurement allow, for example, controllers to be checked precisely. The automatic ramp function is used for controlling processes. The universal calibrator measures and simulates 14 models of thermocouples and Pt100. With the software Z+F SynCaT®, Zoller+Fröhlich creates a connection between the Z+F PROFILER® 9012 and external positioning and navigation systems. SynCaT stands for synchronization, calibration and transformation - also representing the main tasks of the software. Z+F SynCat® includes all the features below: Calibration: Processing of calibration parameters due to different system integrations (translation, rotation offsets between the coordinate systems of the navigation-unit (trajectory) and the Z+F PROFILER® 9012 laser scanner) Synchronization: Synchronize Z+F PROFILER® 9012 laser scanner data with trajectory data and generate 3D point cloud files Transformation: Transform 3D point cloud data to different local coordinate systems and apply different local/global height correction models (geoid correction files) Correction: Individual offset estimation referring to predefined ground control points (GCP’s) Z+F SynCaT® is a modular structured mobile mapping software.

The digital pressure gauge DM 01 is a precision device fulfilling highest demands. It was conceived especially for the process monitoring and calibration. Over the last few years, we at EP-E have designed and introduced a series of primary standards for gases, designed for use in calibration laboratories. As a technology partner of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Braunschweig, our solutions are based on the highest standards. The EP gas bell plungers generate a volume flow which is traceable to the SI units length and time. The pistons are driven by a stepper motor via a spindle. In the initial state one piston is fully retracted and the other fully extended. The volume flow can be set with high precision via the piston cross section and the travel speed. At the end of the calibration process, both pistons are in the opposite position to the initial position. The calibration device is preferably operated with air, which can be supplied with up to 6 bar. The EP gas bell pistons convince by highest measuring accuracy up to 0.15% (k=2).

The change in resistance, dependent on the measurement temperature, can be detected by a transmitter and converted into a standardized signal. A variety of transmitters for head mounting is available for different applications. For In-process calibration the integration of a special measuriung insert with additional test pipe is possible (data sheet T4-025-45,Type GA3100, reference sensor: data sheet T4-025-46, Type GA3110).
