Pomegranate has long been appreciated for its numerous health giving benefits. It mainly contains large quantities of secondary plant compounds and polyphenols such as flavonoids, tannins und ellagic acid. Our Pomegranate extract is supplemented with vitamin C, which contributes to a normal function of the immune system and with its antioxidant effect it protects the cells. Each capsule contains 500 mg of pomegranate extract with 40% ellagic acid and 30 mg of vitamin C.

Schizandra chinensis, also called WuWeiZi is the herb of the five flavours. The fruit is a slightly sour tasting berry, that also contains parts of sweet, hot and mild aroma. That wide gustatory spectrum is traced back to a complex of rare flavonoids and a unique ethereal oil. In the Asian area schizandra is already listed for centuries as dietary supplement on the daily menu. Pomegranate particularly contains large quantities of secondary plant compounds such as flavonoids, tannins und ellagic acid. Vitamins B6 and B12 as well as folic acid supplement both plant extracts perfectly: folic acid contributes towards maintenance of a normal homocysteine level. Vitamins B6 and B12 make a contribution towards the formation of red blood cells, which ensure that oxygen is transported in the vessels. Each capsule contains 300mg Schizandra extract (10:1) corresponding to 3000mg and 200mg Schizandra powder pomegranate extract with minimum 40% ellagic acid.

The tree bears gib, shiny , red-orange fruits with leathery skin. The fruits consists of fruit flesh and several fruit chambers filled with pea-sized seeds. The light golden yellow, nutty smelling oil is obtained by extraction of the seeds. The oil is very valuable, as of 100 kg pomegranate only about 500 g oil can be obtained. It is characterized by its high content of exceptional and rare fatty acids. Furthermore the oil contains potassium, calcium, iron and vitamin C+E. That is why it is ususally used as ingrediant for cremes, soaps and lotions. Due to a too high concentration the skin can dry out.
