Thermoplastic injection-moulded polyurethane (TPU) based on polyesterpolyol, diisocyanate and glycol. This is vibration-absorbing, non-marking, non-staining and highly abrasion-resistant, while also providing good floor preservation. The tread is also resistant to a wide range of aggressive substances, although it has only limited resistance to hot water or steam.

The polyurethane-elastomer Blickle Softhane® is one of the four polyurethane treads developed by Blickle. The positive characteristics of the tread are the end result of many years of optimisation. The extra-thick elastic tread guarantees excellent operational comfort. It is especially gentle on the floor, abrasion-resistant and quiet. The green colour does not leave any tracks and is also non-staining. Softhane® is resistant to a wide range of aggressive substances, with the exception of aromatic solvents, hot water or steam.

The Extrathane® tread was developed on the back of Blickle’s decades of experience in this area to meet market demand and provide an outstanding set of characteristics. The tread is highly abrasion-resistant and has a high resistance to cut and tear propagation. This means that heavy duty wheels and heavy duty castors which use Blickle Extrathane® tread are also suitable for crossing thresholds and medium speeds.

Besthane® treads have 40% lower rolling and swivel resistance than the other polyurethane treads. This means that much less force is required to push or pull transport units carrying heavy loads. It also makes the series particularly interesting for customers focused on ergonomics and occupational safety. Besthane® tread also provides a particularly high level of dynamic load resistance, which is particularly useful when transporting sensitive materials. The tread is typically used for a variety of heavy duty applications on different transport units and machines in the machining and automotive industry. It can provide a load capacity of up to 12,000 kg at high speeds of up to 16 km/h.

Simply as a replacement for steel! Plastic does not corrode and is much less costly than steel when ordered in large batches. Glass fibre reinforcement makes the plastic tough and loadbearing. Upon request, we can check whether your steel or stainless steel parts can be replaced by glass fibre-reinforced polyamides or polyurethanes at lower cost. Threads and internal threads are also possible, also steel inlays. It just depends on the batch size.

We coat rollers up to 3 m in diameter and weighing up to 2 t! We will be happy to provide you with rollers complete with wheels. We have good international contacts for procuring wheels made from steel, aluminium and stainless steel. Upon request we can mill a profile in the coating or form profiles directly during casting.

We accompany you with our design and development from the idea to series production! We process all common thermoplastics for you. Besides polyurethane, these are mainly: PE (polyethylene), PA (polyamide), PP (polypropylene), POM, ASA, TPU, PP, TPE as well as glass fiber reinforced plastics. Advantages of the injection molding process are low unit costs with high batch sizes. Before an injection mold is ordered, we build view samples for you as laser-sintered elements or by means of 3D printing. In this way, the desired part can already be viewed without having to spend a lot of money. Our machines inject molded parts from 5 to 6000 grams.

The formula was optimised until Besthane®Soft provided the desired characteristics: exceptionally high operational comfort, a high level of floor surface preservation, low-noise operation and a particularly high dynamic load capacity. This series is also abrasion-resistant, oil-resistant and flexible at low temperatures. The casted tread is used with either an aluminium or nylon wheel centre. The nylon version is also hydrolysis resistant.

easy drive® track timing belts can be made from the complete range of polyurethane and neoprene timing belts: in open lengths, endless welded, for form belts, endless Flex or wide timing belts, in almost any length and width. The directional guiding, with groove in tooth, is either already integrated in the timing belt during production or added later. These timing belts exhibit the same properties as standard timing belts. However, in addition, axial movement is prevented and the zero-play guiding leads to high directional stability. In addition to wheels and castors, Blickle’s extensive catalogue also includes tyres and press-on bands. The press-on bands are manufactured using Blickle’s own Blickle Besthane® or Blickle Extrathane® polyurethane treads. They are also available with super-elastic solid rubber tyres or an elastic solid rubber tread. Tyres use a steel-wire reinforced rubber core to connect to the rim, while press-on bands are fitted with either a steel insert or a steel band.

The unique friction welding machine RS02 is the professional tool for the maintenance operator and also the fastest and most reliable way of welding belt profiles. Constantly good quality connections are produced in a few seconds with repeatable accuracy due to fixed welding parameters. Welding clamping jaws tuned to the respective profile ensure reliable clamping and perfect alignment of the profile. Thanks to its handy type of construction, the friction welding machine can even be used in narrow space conditions for comfortable welding. The ­recently developed battery version is now available to ensure unlimited freedom of motion.

In our wide range of polyurethane foam mouldings you will find head rests, arm and hand rests, leg and foot rests as well as abduction wedges, toilet seats and pipe covers for almost all purposes. All our moulded parts are characterised by long durability and low weight and are also suitable for use in humid and hygienic environments. The majority of our PU mouldings are tested for biocompatibility according to ISO 10993-5 and -10 as well as for flame resistance according to EN 1021-1 and -2. In addition, we also offer the appropriate retaining systems for our moulded parts.
