Mineral additive for thermal conductivity with simultaneous electrical insulation With the white, mineral additive, thermal conductivities of more than 2 W/mKin plastic compounds are possible without any problems.

Material: low carbon steel We offer our STAX steel fibers as short fiber according to customer specification (on special request as well as strand on reels). The Ø-fiber strength is approx. 30-50 μm. Regular analyses in our laboratory ensure the quality of our products. Main area of application for our STAX steel fibers is friction material for brakes and clutches, and as concrete reinforcement or in plastic compounds. Further we produce segment wire steel fibers for reinforcement of conrete floors for example.

Elastomer or plastic sealing elements and also elements made of composite materials (elastomer + plastic or metal) can be compounded with metal detectable additives.

Material: E-Cu58 Properties: good electrical and thermal conductivity We produce our STAX copper fibers Cu99 in the grades coarse with an average fiber strength of approx. 120 μm, medium 90 μm and fine 60 μm. STAX copper fibers Cu99 are available as following: Strand on reels with defined weight per meter and a width of 100 mm Short fibers according to customer requirement Fleece on bales with defined weight per square meter Applications for STAX copper fibers Cu99 are found in friction material as brake pads or clutches, further in plastic compounds, for shielding, in sport floors, on thatched roofs against growth of moss, as electrical and thermal conductor in different versions. TPE compounds for plastic closures using the in shell liner moulding process The EPSeal 800 series was developed for PE and PP closures specially designed for the in shell moulding liner technology. The series includes versions for cold fill, pasteurisation and hot fill beverage treatment systems. This series also includes versions with different rheological values to address the special processing requirements of different lining machine types. An assortment of lubricant packages addresses the spectrum of closure and liner profile designs but all lead to a neutral taste and odour sealant whilst remaining consumer friendly and reliable. In the plastics compounding and manufacturing process there are many powders (all with different flow properties) which require handling.
