The metal-working industry chiefly uses EXCOR ABRIGO Crepe Paper for packaging unevenly shaped parts. Due to its good stretchability crepe paper adapts to the shape of the part and does not tear. The creped structure gives the paper good cushioning properties To provide an outer barrier layer VCI Crepe Paper can be coated with polyethylene. The degree of creping of paper determines its longitudinal stretchability and pliancy. EXCOR ABRIGO crepe papers offer all these properties, adapted to the customer’s wishes. For our EXCOR ABRIGO crepe papers we process raw paper ranging from 30 - 200 g/m² and with degrees of creping from 5 - 200 per cent (by creping we mean the percentage increase in base weight due to the crinkling it brings about). EXCOR ABRIGO crepe papers are available as rolls or sheets.

If you fill your boxes with paper to secure your goods, you'll send a lot of heavy paper across the country which adds to your freight costs. The paper does not disappear afterwards, the packaging waste remains in full. This is not true for air cushions, as they consist of 99% air and only one percent of film. You’re sending practically nothing but air. Air cushion - a good idea for the environment Packaging with air cushions means the avoidance of transport damage with minimal packaging costs - a great idea for the environment! Particularly with AirWave air cushions from FLOETER. The latest generation of FLOETER production lines is able to produce very thin films down to a thickness of 12μm. This can save many tons of CO2, that would be produced in the production of heavy packaging material. Also, the recycling routes for polyethylenes have long been established. From the resulting plastic residues, new and durable products are being produced through recycling.

USER-FRIENDLY AND FAST – PAPERplus® SHOOTER The PAPERplus® Shooter transforms single-layer kraft paper into multi-layer paper cushioning at maximum speeds, which you can use to fill cartons and block and brace products. The PAPERplus® Shooter can produce up to 3.7 meters of paper cushioning in a single second. The system is available as a free-standing or tabletop model, both of which are exceptionally easy to use: they’re compact in size with an adjustable height and boast a rotating head and an automatic cutting device. The speed can be infinitely adjusted as required. Our customers can also integrate the PAPERplus® Shooter into existing packing processes with the greatest of ease, and produce paper cushioning directly at the packing station.

VERSATILE AND COMPACT – PAPERplus® PAPILLON Thanks to its special, patented shape, the paper cushioning of the PAPERplus® Papillon system offers optimal protection for small and medium-sized shipping goods. It’s suitable for filling voids and wrapping products, boasts large volume at a low weight, and is especially soft and flexible. Available in a variety of models, the PAPERplus® Papillon machine is simple to adapt to the specific needs of our customers. Three operating modes also simplify on-demand production of paper cushioning directly at the packing station, while the system itself features a compact, space-saving design. When connected with a conveying system and a silo, a single PAPERplus® Papillon can supply multiple packing stations with cushioning at the same time. The special kraft paper used by the PAPERplus® Papillon to create paper cushioning is available in brown and white.

LIGHTWEIGHT AND EFFICIENT – PAPERplus® CHEVRON PAPERplus® Chevron delivers maximum fill with less material. The unique paper cushion system produces crinkled paper tubes that are large in volume and offer exceptional shock absorption. Very little paper is required to fill void in the package, and will block and brace light to medium-weight shipping goods in the carton. The high-quality paper cushioning is flexible, malleable and, thanks to perforation, very easy to separate manually. PAPERplus® Chevron is available in a variety of versions, including free-standing and multiple tabletop models, and can be easily integrated into existing packing processes. Storopack customers can choose between brown and white kraft paper.
