Spoiler for the M5000 tram in Manchester, UK Bombardier designed the M5000 tram as a highfloor tram specially for use in Manchester. The spoiler consists of a solid stainless steel frame with a gluedon GRP profile. The profile was milled on modern CNC machines at TC, glued to the frame, primed and painted with a special 2KPUR metallic paint. It is manufactured in different lengths and designs. It has fire protection in accordance with BS 6853. For new projects, we meet fire protection requirements in accordance with EN 45545.

Just push plug into socket for simple connection. Can be used for air and water. Less likely to damage painted or easily dented surfaces than metal couplings. POLIFILM offers protection film solutions for polyester based paint systems with different gloss levels, plastisol and also for PVDF based paint systems. For these applications we typically use high strength films with various adhesion levels. High strength films are able to resist formation forces of painted metals. The required weathering resistance of these films determines, which protection film can best match the customers` requirements. Typical weathering performance varies between 3 and 12 months. Our product assortment comprises transparent films and black / white films, which can be printed according to customer requirements. POLIFIM is an active member of the European Coil Coating Association (ECCA).

POLIFILM comes with a large product assortment of protection films for added value aluminium surfaces. For this application the quality of the carrier film needs to be very specific due to the sensitivity of the fairly soft aluminium. Our protection films are suitable for mill finish aluminium as well as for glossy and even high gloss, anodized aluminium finishes. In addition to traditionally proven natural rubber adhesive formulations we also offer acrylic adhesive systems including easy peel formula for increased productivity. All components pass a quality inspection before being used. Many different methods and procedures are used here (e.g. PMI 0 positive material inspection, crack detection). Our scope of machining reaches from chipping/metal cutting to sandblasting (using granule materials) to welding, assembling and painting. We handle many different metallic and nonmetallic materials as steel, stainless steel, duplex materials, titanium, plastic material We give a big importance to welding: Nash employees are certified according to ASME 9 and therefore qualified to manufacture pressure vessels and piping according to Pressure Equipment Directive (DIN EN 3834) and ASME Standards (31.3). Our systems are painted according to customer specification. We work with all wet paints and 2K paints. Anti-corrosion-coatings up to category C5M are possible. Of course, we meet all the other specifications, e.g. regarding coating thickness, as well. The electrical engineering is also done in the Nash location, from design to cabling. After the completion, the system undergoes a pressure test. Furthermore there is an option to do a complete function test to verify the performance data. Nash is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
