Novelis ff2 pre-painted aluminum with a 2 mm thickness is developed specially for building facade cladding in ventilated and non-ventilated construction. Coil-coated with high-quality PVdF paint, this pre-painted aluminum has a flawless, brilliant surface with a variety of plain, metallic and special colors available.

Novelis ff3 is pre-painted aluminum with a 3 mm thickness. This façade-cladding material gives architects and builders a wide range of sophisticated design possibilities. Thanks to the high mechanical strength of ff3, considerably wider spans compared with other alloys of the same material thickness are possible. This results in significant cost benefits when installing.

Good formability and conductivity make our products useful for condenser case products produced via drawing processes. Manufacturers of these aluminum case applications rely on Novelis to provide high-quality aluminum coils or sheet in alloys such as 1050 and 3004. Novelis produces pre-painted aluminum for scales, dials and nameplates in laser engraving quality, in the form of a surface-treated coil or sheet. Specialized coatings are applied by rollers. Printing is possible via standard commercial inks and paints with no special materials required.

To be effective, aluminum traffic signs and aluminum road signs must be reflective and easy to read day or night, and they must meet stringent government specifications. The alloy and coating of Novelis pre-painted aluminum meets all the precise requirements for durability and readability, with no additional pre-treatment required. The front surface of these aluminum signs are coated with a clear lacquer ideal for reflective-film applications. Manufacturers of these films and elements have tested and confirmed the excellent adhesion qualities. The reverse is delivered painted in gray according to national regulations. On request, it can be pretreated, primed and laminated with a protective film for excellent weather resistance.
