Castrol Molub-Alloy OG 936 SF Heavy is designed to provide maximum protection to gearboxes and rails of large draglines and buckets, while keeping potential environmental contamination to a minimum . The contained mixture of Molub-Alloy solid lubricants optimizes wear protection and load capacity. The selected solid lubricants work synergistically with chemical anti-wear (AW) and high-pressure additives (EP), reduce temperatures in the contact zone and offer good anti-seize protection under high loads and shock loads.

It contains a high-quality base oil based on mineral oil, to which corrosion protection inhibitors and antioxidants are added in a balanced ratio. The high resilience and good wear protection of Castrol High Temperature Grease goes far beyond the standard of conventional lubricating greases. These good properties result from the effectiveness of the innovative additive package developed specifically for Castrol High Temperature Grease . By smoothing the surface roughness on the friction surfaces , their load share increases . This creates increased safety with regard to the load capacity of the bearings with reduced friction.

Castrol Inertox Medium) Fully synthetic inert high-temperature lubricating greases Description The lubricating greases of the Castrol Braycote Inertox series (previous product name Castrol Inertox series) are chemically inert and thermally stable high-temperature greases based on high-quality, fully synthetic base oils and a thickener made of polytetrafluoroethylene. They are used for the long-term lubrication of roller and plain bearings that are subject to high thermal loads. Castrol Braycote Inertox high-temperature greases are used under aggressive environmental conditions and are resistant to inorganic and organic acids and alkalis, even in vacuum systems and clean rooms where a low evaporation rate of the base oil is required.
