Graying Oil provides a decorative grayed look for wooden surfaces. Our product produces a silver-gray weathering-like effect, just like on untreated wood. Our pigmented Graying Oil offers great protection against extreme climatic influences due to the deep impregnation of its non-film forming surface. It produces a durable, water-repellent and weather and UV-resistant surface. Graying Oil is free of toxic agents, odorless when dry and inoffensive in terms of building biology. Reduces swelling as well as cracking. Graying Oil is impervious to most household chemicals such as beer, wine, juice and water. It is open-pore, permeable to vapor and balances out the natural, weather-based graying of untreated wood outdoors. It is also suitable for post-treatment of weathered wood surfaces.

Suitable for treatment of wood, plaster, masonry and clinker surfaces as well as oiling of canvases and priming agent for oil paint. Linseed Oil Varnish is a natural wood preserver and offers a durable and open-pore coat for these materials. Our product is pure, free of resin and toxic agents, it produces an impregnating layer and highlights the grain.

The effect achieved by the corona treatment is an increase in surface tension to values between 38 to 60 mN/m. Since the surface tension is caused by dispersive and polar interaction components the introduction of polar functional groups in particular increased the polar component of the surface tension.
