With laser generation, components are built up layer by layer from powdered metallic materials used in serial production such as 1.2709 steel or 1.4543 steel. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, this enables us to transfer your computer-generated 3D/CAD models reliably over to their physical form. Here, thin coats of the powder materials are applied to a base object before being melted using a laser into the desired contour. This process is continued on a revolving basis until the workpiece is complete with the final geometric form and the relevant functional properties. Incidentally, we reclaim excess powder material during this process and use all of it for later productions again. Our services in sample development also include technical springs, which we produce in small batches for your sample application. Traditional sample development services are a new addition to our portfolio. Here, we produce a small-scale series of your bent strip parts from original materials.

For high-tech applications requiring high strength and stiffness combined with light weight, SIGRAFIL continuous carbon fiber tows are indispensable. They form the basis for high-performance composite materials such as textiles and prepregs, as well as components made of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP). Carbon fibers are used in the automotive industry, in aerospace, in wind turbines, but also in sports equipment or mechanical engineering. By applying different types of sizing, the carbon fibers can be optimally matched to different matrix systems.

With SIGRATEX stacks we offer a further process step on the way to the component. Stacks consist of individual single textile layers placed and fixed on another. The structures and contours of the stack are customer-tailored to individual component geometries and requirements.

Based on carbon and glass fibers, we produce isotropic non-wovens with different fiber orientations and lengths. The non-wovens are made of 100% recycled materials.

In our weaving facility, we produce a wide range of SIGRATEX woven fabrics and tapes. We use 1k, 3k, 6k, 12k, and 24k carbon fiber tows as the material basis. In hybrid woven fabrics, we also process glass and aramid fibers.

SIGRATEX non-crimp fabrics (NFC) are high-quality textile reinforcing materials that we produce for our customers from our SIGRAFIL 50k carbon fiber or from glass fibers. Our portfolio includes uni- and multiaxial fabrics, which we offer in various fiber orientations, areal weights, widths, and stitching types.

The industrial pressure transmitter DMP 336 was especially developed for hydrogen applications and can also be used with other technical gases (e.g. oxygen). This is achieved by using an alloy based on 316L which prevents hydrogen embrittlement of the media-wetted parts. Level of hydrocarbon and particle contamination are significantly reduced by special treatment during production and cleaning. An IS- version is optionally available for explosion-protected applications zone 0 / 20. To achieve the required technical cleanliness, the parts must be correctly handled and placed in the cleaning unit. This is normally done by using special parts carriers that can withstand the cleaning conditions.

The cleaning process must be designed to eliminate specific contaminants and particles from machined workpieces and parts in order to achieve the required technical cleanliness. For the wet cleaning of parts, the four parameters of the Sinner's Circle need to be combined and adjusted for optimised efficiency. PERO units offer efficient cleaning mechanics and reliable process control. According to the Sinner's Circle, the cleaning result is determined by four basic variables. By adjusting and combining these interrelated variables, it is possible to optimise any cleaning process. Good mechanical design of a cleaning unit optimises the mechanics of the process, which generally means that cleaning is completed in less time and with less resources.

The TWT combines a number of cleaning methods in a single unit. Through immersion any spray cleaning with alkaline, neutral or slightly acidic aqueous media, it caters for a wide range of parts and meets even the most stringent requirements regarding technical cleanliness. The cleaned parts are dried under vacuum for extra fast processing. All machine components that come into contact with media are made in stainless steel, allowing for the use of fresh and demineralised water.
