Standard shipbuilding The international requirements for the operational reliability of ships and machines in the shipbuilding and marine sector as well as the general conditions and limitations regarding energy efficiency and the emission of pollutants are constantly increasing. Leistritz has already been meeting these rising requirements for decades. Cargo application A wide variety of specialized vessels are generally used for the transportation of liquid freight on inland and shipping routes. In order to be able to safely load and unload the freight, these ships must be adapted for the specific storage and transport features.

The NASH Vectra XL series of liquid ring pumps was designed to operate as both a vacuum pump and a compressor with a maximum pressure differential of 30 psig. This allows a negative pressure to be applied to the wells and can: assist in the production of low pressure natural gas and/or remove low pressure gas to aid in the production of oil. The discharge gas can be sent to a high pressure reciprocating compressor for pipeline transport. The systems are built on a platform that can be moved from well to well as needed.

Designed to use less energy and consume less operating liquid than competitive models, it is possible to save the user as much as 40% on power consumption and 50% on water usage.
