Leistritz Multiphase pump systems are in operation worldwide. They are designed for running with high gas volume fractions (GVF) and gas bubbles with up to 100% gas content as well as for capacities of up to 5,000 m³/h and differential pressures of up to 150 bar. In comparison with traditional upstream installations, multiphase pumps need neither space-intensive separation devices at the borehole nor separate pumps, compressors or pipelines to transport gas and fluid to the central collection areas. Multiphase pumps are a cost-effective technology for the transportation of multiphase fluids using just a single pipeline - instead of separating the oil, water and gas at the collection areas and exporting the oil and gas to the central production facilities via separate pipelines.

What is Dryflex Green? Dryflex Green is a family of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compounds containing raw materials from renewable resources such as plant and vegetable crops. So far we have developed several series with amounts of renewable content to over 70% (ASTM D 6866) with hardnesses from 50 to 80 Shore A. Why use biobased? Plastics are predominantly a by-product of oil, a diminishing resource. We are therefore seeing increasing demands to look at how we can work with biobased, renewable materials and bring new opportunities for sustainability. The NASH Vectra XL series of liquid ring pumps was designed to operate as both a vacuum pump and a compressor with a maximum pressure differential of 30 psig. This allows a negative pressure to be applied to the wells and can: assist in the production of low pressure natural gas and/or remove low pressure gas to aid in the production of oil. The discharge gas can be sent to a high pressure reciprocating compressor for pipeline transport. The systems are built on a platform that can be moved from well to well as needed.
