The AQUACHEM LCM 320 (pocket press membrane) is ideal for mobile deployment on site on a suitable trolley and can be operated with up to 15 bar loading and 15 bar membrane squeezing. This machine can also be used as a testing filter press in the case in order to decide on the right fabric or to check the filterability of the suspension. Fully equipped, this compact press can manually implement functions that our fully automatic machines can do. The AQUACHEM LC 320 (pocket press chamber) is identical in design to the LCM 320 and differs only in its function as a chamber filter press (without membrane). The LC 470 is the more affordable, low-cost version of the EC-series. Main feature is the restriction of the feeding pressure to 7 bar. All other features are the same as the EC-series. This series is built in a compact design with a feeding pump and discharge manifold.

The RUF briquetting systems of the Biomass series process dust, shavings and wooden chips into briquettes of consistently high quality and density. Varying bulk densities are offset automatically during the process. These materials can be pressed into a compact form without the use of binders. It is important that the moisture content of the chips is below 15%, preferably under 12%, and that the chip size does not exceed 50mm. The general rule is that the finer the material is, the smoother and more solid the surfaces and edges of the resulting briquette. The systems can be equipped with a multitude of options, thus optimally adapting them to customer needs. This series offers maximum flexibility. The most appropriate Installation Machine depends on the actual insertion force required to press the Insert into the plastic hole and the desired productivity. Press-In Inserts are designed to be pressed into a straight hole without melting the plastic prior to installation. Ideal for use in softer plastics, the helical knurls of the Press-In Inserts are used to provide both torque and pull-out resistance and to ensure good plastic flow as the Insert rotates into the hole. Installation torque to achieve sufficient tension between the threads is not a problem in that the helical knurls are designed so that the direction of the installation torque will have the tendency to drive the Insert into the hole — which of course is not possible — as the threaded joint is tightened. A pilot only slightly smaller than the hole and of sufficient length is designed to assure straight insertion into the hole. Press-In Inserts offer rapid installation with no specialized equipment and achieve good overall joint performance. Metzner powder press and indexable insert automations of the "RPA 3-SC series" automatically remove pressed blanks from a powder press and deposit them quickly and gently in a definable sample. In the "RPA 3-SC1", the transfer of the individual sintering plates and the loading of the blanks is carried out by a SCARA 4-axis robot. The empty sintering plates are placed manually into a sintering plate magazine, removed with a sintering plate gripper if necessary, and fed to the loading position. The robot then moves to a gripper station, deposits the sintering plate gripper, picks up a part gripper, and starts loading the sintering plate. In the "RPA 3-SC2", sintering plates are placed manually on a double conveyor belt. One sintering plate at a time is automatically transported to the loading position via the conveyor belt. The robot immediately starts to load the blanks. Loaded sintering plates are ejected from the loading position and manually removed from the conveyor belt.

The "Metzner RPA 10-SL" is a powerful and flexible press automation system for handling indexable inserts and small ceramic parts for medium to large batch sizes.
