Four QuellTech Q6 3D- laser scanners are installed, mutually displaced by an angle of 90°. In this configuration, they are able to monitor the complete surface of the cable running through. It is important that the test does not lower the production speed, therefore very high sampling rates are required, supported by convenient data processing. The measured position of a defect is recorded in cable direction.

The optoCONTROL 2700 is a compact LED micrometer for the precise measurement of diameter, gap, edge and segment. The micrometer is characterized by its high accuracy with a measuring range of 40 mm. As the controller is integrated in the receiver, the cabling and installation work is reduced to a minimum. Thanks to the active inclination correction, objects tilted by up to 45° are also detected extremely precisely. The configuration is performed conveniently via the web interface and enables the parameters set up of video signal, filter and different measuring modes. In set-up mode, a shadow image can be used for simple alignment of the measuring object. The excellent price-performance ratio rounds off the service package.

Optical micrometers from Micro-Epsilon operate according to the transmitted light principle (ThruBeam micrometer). Here, the transmitter produces a parallel light curtain that is transmitted via a lens arrangement into the receiver unit. The beam is interrupted if an object is in the light path. The resulting shadowing is detected by the receiving optics and output as measurement value. Most optical micrometers are used for dimensional measurements in production, machine monitoring and quality assurance. Parameters such as diameter, gap, height and position are detected with high accuracy.

Operating the optoCONTROL CLS1000 controllers requires sensors that are used on the measuring point. Depending on the measurement task, the sensors can be individually combined. The high-quality sensors with fiber optics are characterized by small installation dimensions and robust materials. This makes them particularly suitable for mechanical stress and harsh ambient conditions such as high temperatures. The sensor can also be used in restricted areas as the sensor head requires a minimum of installation space.

The CLS1000 controller is available in five different versions: CLS1000-QN with antivalence function (normally open/normally closed), CLS1000-2Q with two switching outputs, CLS1000-OC with optocoupler, CLS1000-AU with voltage output and CLS1000-AI with current output. Each model is available in NPN, PNP or push-pull versions. All controllers are available with or without triggers.

The optoCONTROL CLS1000 optoelectronic fiber optic sensor is suitable for use in automation thanks to its variable switching outputs. The CLS1000 is used for reliable position monitoring as well as for position and presence detection. The fiber optic sensor comprises a CFS sensor and a CLS1000 controller. The wide detection and operating ranges of up to 2000 mm make the fiber optic sensor ideal for the detection of components even at great distances. Due to the small design of the CFS sensors, the CLS1000 optoelectronic fiber optic sensor series is particularly suitable for use in confined installation spaces.

The optoCONTROL 2520 is a compact laser micrometer with integrated controller. A high resolution, model variant with measuring ranges of 46 mm and 95 mm as well as variable mounting distances allow a wide range of applications in quality monitoring and production control. The measurement object can be placed at any position within the light curtain and the distance from transmitter to receiver can be freely selected.

Weft straightening the way it should be ... The Orthopac RVMC is the universally employable straightening system from Mahlo for the correction of web distortions for nearly all applications. Available with hydraulic or electrical straightening roller adjustment. The modular construction allows the system to be configured to meet the demands of changing conditions and requirements.

The optoCONTROL 1200 is based on the principle of light quantity measurement. The compact laser micrometer has all the evaluation electronics integrated in the case and the mounting is very flexible. High dynamic applications can be measured due to the measuring rate of 100 kHz.
