The stainless steel probe LMK 387 was developed for level and gauge measurement in wastewater, sludge or water courses. The mechanical robustness of the front-flush ceramic diaphragm faciliates an easy disassembly and cleaning of the probe in case of service. Compared to the level probe LMK 382 the outside-diameter is only 22 mm, which allows an easy installation and backfitting in 1" tubes or in cramped fitting conditions. An internationally active medical technology company that produces and sells catheter tubes, among other things, has optimized its manufacturing process with the help of a production line from Metzner Maschinenbau. With Metzner's know-how, it was possible to replace a costly manual process with an automatic machine, saving costs. At the same time, the length accuracy and the cutting quality were significantly improved. The company supplied a fully automatic system that precisely cuts the catheter tubing to length, removes the mandrel present from the extrusion without leaving any residue and without longitudinal expansion, and then deposits the tubing in a collecting container at the end. Processing with exact length accuracy and mandrel removal The Metzner special development cuts catheter tubes to an exact length and removes the mandrel inside safely and precisely. The finished material is deposited in a collection container.

The F02 has been designed for application in systems which require a pressure transmitter with a Performance Level PL d or a Safety Integrity Level of SIL 2. It has a thin-film measurement cell made from stainless steel which is welded together with the pressure sensor and thus guarantees high media compatibility. It is available within pressures from 10 to 1200 bar. The output signal is made available at two outputs in parallel, whereby the second output represents an inverted signal. Users can select between a ratiometric and an 4-20-mA output in three-wire technology. The permitted media temperature range extends from -40…+125 °C. The total accuracy in the compensated range of 0…+80 °C lies at <= 1 % FS. The possible flexibility during integration into an existing machine is ensured through the provision of a multitude of available pressure connections as well as the small construction. The electrical contact takes place via a 5-pole M12 connector. The F02 also has E1 approval.

The new FLEXON SafeTopChain was designed with a completely closed upper surface, minimising the risk of crushing in curves or deflections and offering maximum stability for products and workpiece carrier systems. The special surface also enables even the smallest parts to be transported risk-free. Highlights: • Requires the same guides as the normal plastic multiflex chains from the 1700 Series • By using turning disks with a minimum radius of 123.5mm, dynamic friction is replaced by rolling friction; this allows longer conveyors with more curves, as well as vertical/spiral conveyor systems to overcome gradients and providing buffering. • Improved chain geometry enables the use of wider sprockets, thus reducing wear through lower surface pressure when teeth engage.
